What an amazing human! Mel the podcaster and myself met with Toni and th Podgals experience in Houston Texas! an amazing event put on by the_aliciae on instagram a woman bringing podcastors together in Houston!

It was an amazing experience and you will hear me use the word culture several times during the episode. There is so much culture in Houston and Toni quashes some beliefs about rappers on her podcast. Recording with entertainers, comics, rappers in Houston showing the soft side to them instead ot the gangsta side.

Toni is a Hairstylist and a professional as well as a podcastor her love for the craft is apparent as she shares how she started podcasting.

Showing other women how to be present for themselves and being fearless about it.

Toni left the cast with some wise words

are you going to let life happen to you or you going to let life happen? and I took that to mean

perspective everything used to happen to me because I allowed energy into my universe which wasn't mine. Negative energy would happen to me when i step out out of the way of life and let it happen then I am more aware of the gifts the universe gives me and can let energy which doesn't serve me pass me by

Its already hard to be a human we lose time and energy worrying

People are raised on love and struggle

We are trying something new here at N@ked Onion Mel and I are doing reddits/aITA Thread and tonight we have 2 AITA thread selections the first is AITA for not wanting to go with my GF to an out of town wedding and the second is AITA for not wanting to do anything for my husbad anymore.

I love the thread. It shows you the at least these people are asking themselves the question "Who is the asshole in this situation"! Some want to know they are right in a healthy way and others want to be enabled in their broken way of thinking. Any way you look at it though its a fun read. Until you read one in between the lines and you know they are truly disturbed. You know the Dexter of the WWW.

Since this is being published on Halloween its a very fitting topic.

Houston we have a problem! Nope we don't have a problem! There are no problems! In fact I had the best time with Mel the podcaster! She was amazing! The podcast was live and uncensored.

OMG Naked Onion has done this topic before! It was in June of in 2023 or was it 2022. Who knows really. I found the intro for the Beliefs episode and attached it to the end of this episode.

Crazy to me how beliefs can be so different. Now I have all three eyes open and I am seeing things as they mystically are all those layers of the onion are not so perfect there are so many dimensions to them.

Tonight's episode "Preserving the Peace" is about exactly that, understanding your inner alarms and being able to walk away from a situation which doesn't serve you. Preserving your own peace doesn't have to be exhausting anymore. If you know your inner alarms such as frustration, anger, avoidance as Kitty Rebellion likes to say "Ask yourself the questions". Why do I feel ABC?

I had no Idea about preserving my peace, I had 0 emotional intelligence, I came to this realization in 2013 when I started to work for Empath Hospice in Clearwater FL. I had to grow as a person.

Now 10 years later I have made some amazing friendships. These women come on NOMT and give their perspective and want to show others the way to peace.

Who doesn't want peace???

It makes you do and say and feel things. I believe when I was lonely I couldn't trust my own thoughts. They had been hijacked at times I would have momentary lapses of reason.

I understand being lonely all to well being with someone yet feeling alone whether it be a life partner or a friend the energy didn't match.

Tonight's discussion is about that. Mel and I discuss the ins and outs of being lonely and the effects it has on the sole. How letting someone else control the wheel creates its own set of problems. Whether it comes to finances or a date out. When someone else doesn't give you a say. How would you feel? If you werent given an option to choose your own meal?

I found out in Tampa Fl. men give you 4 dates and by then they know if they would like to sleep with you. I can tell you at this age I wait months for this very reason. I am not McDonalds you have not just ordered a McFlurry! I am not a Quarter Pounder with cheese!

Naked Onion Mystery Tours is working on changing the programming of women by having guest who promote emotional intelligence and a hand up out of the patriarchy.

for centuries it has been the idea women are born to make a man happy. To decorate there bodies and pleasure a man in the way he deems appropriate. This is codependancy on a woman to "Complete" what is missing in the male partners life. As Kimberly, I went from relationship to relationship being thinking feeling and acting the way my partner (Male or female) asked me to be. Statements were made to me "If you would just change" "You are to much" "if you would lose weight" and many many more of those kinds of statements were made to me. Now I am in the mountains of New Mexico a geographical cleanse of sorts and I am the happiest I have been in years. I sent boundaries from the very beginning when I meet people, NO is a complete sentence and I no longer guilt myself for saying it. I am not transactional anymore, its all about energy and how I feel when I am around someone. We all complain from time to time however I no longer make people a priority when they claim they are a victim then I give them the space to figure out why instead of being the safety net they claim they need. I meet people where they are and do not judge anyone for the path they choose to take, especially if they choose to take another path which does not have me in it.
