Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Matthew 7:13-14 which says 13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

"This verse reminds me that life isn’t always easy. There are moments when we could make a turn and the road begins to open up. That is when things become dangerous because we can start driving on our terms. We can go faster that the speed limit. We can do donuts in the intersection. Truthfully things can get out of hand. But if we chose to go off the main road that everyone is one we will find a narrow and winding road. This is a picture of God’s way. The road may be bumpy. It might not have roads, it could just be dirt. You may not trust it at times, but He is asking us to do so. Trust that although you may feel restricted on his path, you are safe you are headed to your destination and you are in the right hands.

 

God is good. His path is good. We must be the few that find it and keep it. We must try our hardest not to try looking for the main road. Society is overrated anyway."
