Election musings that review the astrology of November 28, 2016. Election Day is Blue Spectral Storm, the chaotic dissolution of a wave that can to some feel like freedom from tightly wound pressure. Whose blissed out liberation is nearly at hand? Who will feel like the world is falling entirely apart? Blue Storm day, Blue Storm year. Transformation, self-generation, energy.

10.25.20 - Day 2/13 of the Red Moon wavespell * Self-Existing Moon 8

We're working our way through a task-driven Self-Existing Moon, a time when we are driven to itemize and take actions toward immediate accomplishment in support of the act of service we identified in the last Electric Moon. We can feel the year starting to surge in its waveform toward an escalating ascent. The Red Moon wavespell is about water, the journey water takes downhill and with gravity to join all the other rivers at the greatest oceanic basin. We are in that way more accommodating right now, fluid and apt to go with the flow, no longer - Yellow Warrior-style - fighting it.

10.21.20 - Day 11/13 of the Yellow Warrior wavespell * Self-Existing Moon 4

Interesting time to revisit the larger picture perception of the ancient Mayan people. 10.22 is Blue Crystal Hand, the same Tzolkin day as 12.21.12, the heralded, hyped Mayan prophecy day that was claimed to offer nothing remarkable. Let's see what unfolds within this day. Let's pause, too, to review the last eight years since the ballyhooed winter solstice came and went without incident. Hasn't life started to lean toward end of the world scenarios, just a bit? And even though the Maya were not talking about apocalypses, more like the transit of world ages and new apertures of enlightenment, we can see that something is brewing in resurgent darkness before we can break with a new dawn.

10.18.20 - Day 8/13 of the Yellow Warrior wavespell * Self-Existing Moon 1

The Self-Existing Moon starts today and turns our attention to the details, line items of our annual purpose - after three moons of being more philosophical and conceptual. It might seem busier to have all the activity of organizing and arranging our plans, but also delightful to not be hamstrung by ideas, pondering and spiritual interplay with your guides. We can be do-ers now, for a while. The Yellow Warrior moment is more conflictual than I may have predicted. There's a natural machismo in running our male protective energy while also reiterating a basic battlefield concept: I will survive. That narrow focus finds us intolerant of histrionics, of drama, of unconscious and meandering energy. Focused, fierce, fearless. We may have to warm to such an intense self-preserving form of empowerment, but once we acclimate to strength, determination, we find the pleasures of living without rattled nerves, emotional collapse and uncertainty.

10.14.20 - Day 4/13 of the Yellow Warrior wavespell * Electric Moon 25

We're in another layering of the Blue Storm year on this Blue Storm day: amplified energy means amplified information. See how your Storm day played out, note the highlights that stood out, were exclamatory. These are indications of your larger year's fate forming. Messages come through these 'Magic Turtle' moments. There is also in the renewal of yet another Mayan sacred calendar - the sequence of 20-day 'vinals' - a phrase that is presented to us every time we come back to Blue Storm. Currently, we enter the vinal zec that carries the phrase, 'that reaches the foundations.' To recap, we have these other vinal phrases behind us since the year's start: the one who knows / listens in silence / in order to integrate the universe / based on the knowledge. We just went through the 'based on the knowledge' vinal - what knowledge did we acquire? Personally, collectively. I think it's worth noting that in that time we learned that Donald Trump is finally being seen more uniformly as laughable, ridiculous and impotent, after years of him looming large as evil, terrorizing and pathological. That is our new, developing and relieving knowledge base. Now, it will reach our foundation. Next Blue Storm day is the American election!

10.8.20 - Day 11/13 of the Blue Night wavespell * Electric Moon 19

The Blue Lunar Storm year echoes 1968, and the surrounding 13-year White Wizard wavespell was last experienced from 1967-1980. Think easily how experimental that era was, with exploding personal freedom and pushback against perceptions about morality, sexuality, psychology and spiritualism. It was a social revolution. Allow the echo of that to be coherent in your life now. We're breaking through perception again, radically, coming into higher consciousness. Not into a field of light, but one of varied technicolor juxtaposed with pitch darkness. These are colorful times on the edge of a black void that we cannot fully fathom. But we'll slowly shine our light into that unknown space. This larger view of what we are systemically enduring right now is meant to help you feel the importance of all that challenges you, scares you, is waking you up from collective denial.

10.6.20 - Day 9/13 of the Blue Night wavespell * Electric Moon 17

Trump continues to be topical in the Electric Moon of his birth tone, but imagine that this might be the swan song moment of world dominance or a fully exposed public reckoning. It's worth considering, too, that about 80 million people think he unfailingly is accomplished and of deep service to the country (the astrological implication of being Blue Electric Hand). Meanwhile, the mood of the Blue Night wavespell is dreamy and abundant. How are you seeing home/household at the center of your considerations right now? Your body that houses your soul? Your cash windfalls coming in for this brief 13-day spell are to be celebrated. Abundance is not an every day aspiration in Natural Time - but right now the human impulses of hoarding and greed is allowed berth and we can discernibly receive payouts that bring delight and a sense of fulfillment.

10.2.20 - Day 5/13 of the Blue Night wavespell * Electric Moon 13

It's Trump's moon within the 13 Moon year. We each get one, reflecting the tone of our birth. It's a moment when we can legitimately watch and interpret his earthly behavior as informed by Mayan astrology and karmic fate. As we move into the third week, in the West, our view will exponentially and emotionally erupt, as could his behavior, his public display. At this indelible moment in American history, and at a gateway of apocalyptic reckoning where his kind represents darkness and destructive impulses, it's important for us to pay attention, and get the lesson his outsized influence brings.

9.28.20 - Day 1/13 of the Blue Night wavespell * Electric Moon 9

We're entering 13 days of dreaming through the daytime, with the sleepiness of seasonal shift starting to overtake us. As well as the stupor of so much cultural calamity. If you're tired, it's because your psyche wants more space to be surreal, unchained in the outer edge of our dreamtime drama. It's also a time to be inward, at home, aware that our bodies house our souls, and putting everything in order so that we're comfortable therein. You can also spend the first stages of the Blue Night wavespell considering what is your concept of 'abundance,' of having enough or even feeling that your luck or resources are spilling over. That is another gift and exploration of this time.

9.24.20 - Day 10/13 of the White Dog wavespell * Electric Moon 5

The Electric Moon shifts us from division and polarity to an infusion of divine, holy presence. In the Lunar tone, we experience things as at odds, in conflict or dissent. That distance between parties, a disconnect, is hard to bridge or overcome. The Electric tone begins the rekindling or reparation of that space of discord or non-agreement. It is the infusion of divinity or our perception of god, a higher 'power' that electrifies and charges us up. The space of separation is filled with god-like essences such as light, love, peace and ease - just enough to begin the work beyond the chronic focus on challenge that is represented by the Lunar tone and still describes this torrid 13 Moon year.
