Fixed income portfolio manager Jeff Moore joins the show today for a look at interest rates, the Federal Reserve and bond markets. For Canadian investors, Jeff manages many fixed income funds, including Fidelity Multi-Sector Bond Fund and Global Core Plus Bond ETF, as well as the fixed income subportfolio of Global Monthly Income Fund and NorthStar Balanced Fund, among others. Today with host Pamela Ritchie, Jeff reflects on the recent Federal Reserve announcement to raise rates, the volatility in the MOVE index, the timing and discussion of companies postponing bond issuances, and the potential for an inverted yield curve.
