The Colorado Avalanche are loaded, and there are only so many spots available for All-Stars. We knew Nathan MacKinnon was in due to his leading the voting for the division captain, and we figured Cale Makar would be in because......he's Cale Makar. But was there enough room for Nazem Kadri considering each team needs to be represented?

The answer, so far, is no. Naz is having a career year, but when you play on a team with superstar names, you will get bumped. And that is what has happened to this point. Naz can still make it in as the final player for the division based on fan voting, but it just seems wrong the guy who is at the top of the league statistically is off the All-Star roster.

The Avs will take on Arizona twice this weekend in a home and home back to back. Arizona has stated recently that Jakob Chychrun is available for trade if the asking price is met. Which is hefty. Should the Avs be in on him? Chris proposes a trade that might make some sense.
