Today I have the pleasure of having a conversation with Georgia’s Freshman phenom Will Sumner! Will just ran out of his mind in the NCAA’s 800, running a negative split of 53:51 to win his first NCAA title and run the US lead 1:44. This year he also won the SEC 800 indoors and outdoors, SEC freshman runner of the year and the South Region men’s track athlete of the year. This conversation was tons of fun as Will and I discuss everything from what changed from indoors where he finished last in the 800 final to his dominant win outdoors, to what character he plays as in Mario Cart.
