1) Figure out where you want to go

2) Ask yourself why you want to get there 

3) What skills do you need to accomplish, or acquire, that you don’t already have now? 

4) Figure out how you’re going to close the gap on the skills you need to have (number 3) and the skills you have now. 

5) Start having conversations.
