Spaceballs: The New One Sequel Footage

Comedy legend Mel Brooks beamed into Amazon MGM's CinemaCon presentation to officially announce that the long-awaited Spaceballs sequel is titled Spaceballs: The New One[1]. A hilarious new trailer poked fun at modern Hollywood—specifically the Amazon-MGM merger—and featured updated parodies of modern sci-fi franchises[1]. Dark Helmet's updated mask resembles Kylo Ren from the Star Wars sequel trilogy, and the footage even included a nod to Avatar with a Na'vi bathroom joke[1]. The film is slated for an April 2027 release[1].
