Nerds in Christ: Nerdology Vol I: In our first-ever devotional, we’ll discover the similarities between the franchises we love and biblical themes. We’ll explore The Legend of Zelda and find the Link to the Gospel. We’ll learn how to destroy the rings in our lives, like in The Lord of the Rings. Can we become disciples like the Jedi in Star Wars? We will also uncover Christian aspects in Halo, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Dungeons & Dragons, and many more. In all of our topics, we hope to level up our faith by finding the Gospel in our favorite fandoms.

You can also help Michael who has authored a few books himself also found on Amazon.

Into The Hollow (The Fallen Kingdom Series Book 1): Abducted by figures clad in shadow with red glowing eyes, Ryker finds himself cold and alone in a place where light and warmth are distant memories. His parents are gone. His family has abandoned him. And one by one his friends fall to the darkness. Now, his only company are the strange dreams that haunt his sleep. He has lost everything. How could any survive the grueling trials of a place with no warmth, no light? Hope can be a candle in a hurricane. Will Ryker keep his hope alive? Could you?

What are the unique ingredients inside us that make us who we are? What makes us long for places we’ve never been or invest so much of our time and energy into people that don't exist? What drives imagination, make-believe, and fantasy, and why should we even care? What is the anatomy of a nerd? Let’s find out.

Pride, greed, envy, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth are the seven deadly sins that have plagued humanity since the first interaction with the serpent of old. If you are breathing, then you struggle with these very same sins. Let's look at where they show up in our favorite fandoms so we can level up our faith.

Are you feeling over-encumbered? Do you feel like you have way too many things to do and not enough time to do them? If you’re anything like me, you wrestle with wanting to do everything all at once, feeling stuck, and not being able to do anything you want to do. I do my best to share what I have learned in the past few months as I continue to learn to do less so that He can do more. I pray this blesses you and helps you level up in your faith!

Can we level up our faith from our favorite movie, TV show, video game, or any other fandom? Let me know what your favorite fandom is! I would love to create more content that you would like to see! God Bless!

Who is the chosen one? Many stories and fandoms have a “chosen one” who will one day bring balance to the force, defeat the dark one, or destroy the matrix. All of them share something in common: They bring hope. In this episode of the Nerds in Christ podcast, we discuss the different attributes of the “chosen one” and how Christ Jesus is the ultimate chosen and savior of the world. We hope you enjoy it.
