Nerds in Christ: Nerdology Vol I: In our first-ever devotional, we’ll discover the similarities between the franchises we love and biblical themes. We’ll explore The Legend of Zelda and find the Link to the Gospel. We’ll learn how to destroy the rings in our lives, like in The Lord of the Rings. Can we become disciples like the Jedi in Star Wars? We will also uncover Christian aspects in Halo, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Dungeons & Dragons, and many more. In all of our topics, we hope to level up our faith by finding the Gospel in our favorite fandoms.

You can also help Michael who has authored a few books himself also found on Amazon.

Into The Hollow (The Fallen Kingdom Series Book 1): Abducted by figures clad in shadow with red glowing eyes, Ryker finds himself cold and alone in a place where light and warmth are distant memories. His parents are gone. His family has abandoned him. And one by one his friends fall to the darkness. Now, his only company are the strange dreams that haunt his sleep. He has lost everything. How could any survive the grueling trials of a place with no warmth, no light? Hope can be a candle in a hurricane. Will Ryker keep his hope alive? Could you?

Call To Arms: It’s time you left your comfort zone and engage in the war you’re in

Will you answer the call?

Believe it or not, you face daily battles that have an eternal impact on your life and those around you. In Call To Arms, Michael Bergman will bring new and old believers on a spiritual journey to equip them for spiritual warfare.

Do you fight recurring battles you feel like you can never win? Are you aware of the darkness running rampant in the world? Have you ever thought you were made for more in this life?

Michael has spent hours praying and studying to find answers, and they may not be what you want to hear.

Call To Arms isn't another spiritual growth book. It is an invitation to answer the call to spread the Gospel and further the Kingdom of Heaven.

In Call to Arms, readers will learn to:

Open their eyes to the war we’re in

Rebuild a solid foundation in scripture

Equip the armor found in Ephesians 6

Wield the sword of the Spirit that is the word of God

Unlearn some of the lies of our enemy

Use tactics to navigate the battlefield

Answer the call and accomplish your mission

What's up, nerds!? Welcome to the Nerds In Christ Podcast, where we level up our faith by finding the Gospel in our favorite fandoms. In this episode we are waking up early, pouring ourselves a big bowl of our favorite cereal, and looking back on some 80s cartoons. We’ll discuss the thrill of watching a new episode of your favorite show and wanting to share it with everyone you know. No matter how your week went, you were eager to wake up early and get in front of the TV on Saturday morning. Back in the day it seemed like the shows taught more about character than simply entertainment. Putting it all together it’s very similar to how we should be living the lifestyle Christ laid out for us. We hope this challenges you to level up and helps you to go out and make disciples of all fandoms.

In this week's episode of the Nerds in Christ Podcast, we will dive into the behemoth topic of Good & Evil. Most of the time, Good & Evil is pretty straightforward in our favorite fandoms, but that’s not always the case in real life. We will also discuss the rise of the antihero and how it seems the bad guys are no longer viewed as bad anymore. Finally, we will learn what the scriptures define as good and evil and how that relates to our everyday lives.

Welcome to Season 2 of the Nerds in Christ Podcast! In this episode, we will progress through Levels of Difficulty. Stepping into what is uncomfortable we will talk about getting out of our comfort zones so we can grow as a believer. Next, we will discuss conflict and how it can give us some much-needed experience points. Trials can be like a refiner’s fire that can burn away anything not of God and make us more like Jesus. No matter what, God can use trauma for His glory if we have the proper perspective. Lastly, we will talk about how these can level us up in this life of following Christ. We hope you enjoy it!

Welcome to Season 2 of the Nerds in Christ Podcast! In this episode, we will be talking about all things SWORDS! Creating iron daggers in Skyrim can level up your blacksmithing, and much like iron ore, God can create something out of us. Swords have a single purpose, and that is war. We as humans have one purpose, and we all need to learn what the Bible says that purpose is. There is almost always a training montage in all of our favorite fandoms. We need to train daily with our swords for the battles at hand. We will discuss some of the greatest duels of all time, especially the duel in Matthew 4 between Jesus and the Devil, and how to learn how to defend from the enemy’s lies. Finally, we’ll talk about our favorite blades from the media and how they relate to the sword we all should carry daily. All of that and much more, we hope you enjoy it!
