Nerds in Christ

Welcome to Season 2 of the Nerds in Christ Podcast! In this episode, we will play co-op with Sidekicks and learn what true friendship means. We will also dive into topics like growing together, having a Mr. Miyagi in our lives, and being careful who we listen to. We should not do everything on our own; sometimes, we need help. Lastly, we will discuss how to become a sidekick and what it means to have a sidekick yourself. We hope you enjoy it!

Welcome to Season 2 of the Nerds in Christ Podcast! In this episode, we will discuss what it means to go out on a quest for Christ. Beginning with desire, what would it take for you to go on an adventure? There will be side quests along the way, do you stop and help or would that be a distraction? Most of our time is on the journey, and traveling across the realms will hold many adventures. Don't forget to stop and rest along the way, whether it be in a tavern or a camp. Finally, we will discuss our main objective and what it means to go on an adventure for Jesus. We hope you enjoy it!

We'll discuss the past season in this episode of the Nerds in Christ Podcast. I can’t believe we made it to the end of the first season. It’s been a lot of fun and we hope you’ve learned a little and leveled up your walk with Christ. We will also discuss our ideas for the future of NIC and topics for next season.

In this episode of the Nerds in Christ Podcast, we step through the wardrobe and into the land of Narnia. We'll first discuss the people involved in Lewis' conversion to Christianity, a group of writers and poets known as the Inklings. Next, we will talk about the wardrobe itself and what it means to step into a realm of make-believe. We'll learn what it means to be sons of Adam and daughters of Eve and why we shouldn't sell each other out for Turkish Delight. Lastly, we'll discuss the lion himself, Aslan, and his similarities with Jesus Christ. We hope you enjoy it!

In this episode of the Nerds in Christ Podcast, we take a leap of faith into the world of Assassin’s Creed. We’ll cover the Assassins themselves and the Brotherhood, The Templars, genetic memory, and, of course, the hidden blade. Finally, the boss battle will be free running or parkour and how all of it can help us level up our faith. We hope you enjoy it!

In this episode of the Nerds in Christ Podcast, we unite and discuss The Justice League. First up is the man of steel himself, Superman, and how he is who we should all strive to be: selfless. Next is Wonder Woman, not my wife; Diana is a Proverbs 31 woman with a sword. Much like Green Lantern, we must have an oath that no evil will escape our sight. Arguably the most powerful superhero, Martian Manhunter, and like him, we too need to be not of this world. We will learn from Batman not to have a victim mindset but to use trauma to send us down a righteous path. Each member brings something different to the table, and all together, they form an unstoppable team. We all need a tribe like that. Ask yourself: who sits at your table? We hope you enjoy it! In this episode of the Nerds in Christ Podcast, we turn and flow onto The Wheel of Time. This is a massive franchise, and it took a lot of work to choose what topics to discuss. First, we will grab ahold of the one power and the differences between the male and female sides of it. We learn that unlike it, we must submit to the power of the Holy Spirit. Next, we will be introduced to the two Rivers folk and how they each played a huge role in the story despite their failures and setbacks. We will learn about the Aes Sedai and how, with many members, they make up one body of the tower. We will also dive into the Warders, the Forsaken, The Dragon Reborn, and so much more and how all of it is so much like the stories found in the Bible and Christ himself. We hope you enjoy it! In this episode of the Nerds in Christ Podcast, we will discuss Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We will first look at how April O’Neil and Casey Jones weren't ninjas or turtles but did their part to fight against the darkness of their city. We can sometimes become like Bebop and Rocksteady, and though we might have all the power in the world, if we do not love, we have nothing. Sometimes, the splinter in our eyes blinds us to the plank in our brother’s eye. We are all good at something, and if we can learn how to use that for the kingdom, this world will become a safer place. We hope you enjoy it! In this episode of the Nerds in Christ Podcast, we are going super saiyan and discussing the world of Dragonball. We need to know our limits and believe without a doubt that when we are weak, He is strong. If we ever turn into a giant ape, we need to have friends who will cut off our tails. Learning the importance of keeping our heads in the clouds, we will be led by a cloud by day and a fire by night. Constantly be training your mind, will, and emotions so you will be a tool for our Father and not a toy for the enemy. If we can focus all of our faith into an energy ball like a Kamehameha nothing can stand in our way. God may not grant every wish we have, but He hears every single prayer. We hope you enjoy it! In this episode of the Nerds in Christ Podcast, we look at X-Men! We begin with what the X in X-Men stands for and how we, too, have a type of X gene inside us, Christ. Too often, the mutants' powers are also the struggle they have to go through. We'll learn that our weaknesses can become strengths when we rely on God's strength, not our own. We should all try to find our own version of The Xavier Institute, whether that be a church, a small group, or a group of like-minded people. We might not have Adamantium claws or laser vision, but we all have gifts and talents, and the sooner we learn what they are, the sooner we can use them to further the Kingdom. Once the X gene changes us, we can never go back. We must die to ourselves daily so that we can live for Him. We hope you enjoy it!
