"A person who has deeply touched the Malayali people through his poetry and film songs. An artist who continues to be a 'golden opposition,' never completely giving himself over to cinema or political movements. His reactions are not based on favouritism, but by looking into his own soul. Today on 'Nere Chovve' is Shri Rafeeq Ahammed, who is completing a quarter-century of writing songs."

"When it's election season, leaders generally see an increase in devotion/piety. They often adopt the path of devotion to bring closer those who have kept their distance. It now seems that even the government is more interested in the spiritual circuit than the political one. It is against this backdrop that the Devaswom Minister is appearing on 'Nere Chovve' (a television show, literally meaning 'Straight Talk'). Minister V. N. Vasavan explains the politics behind the Ayyappa Sangamam (gathering) and the politics that will follow, on Nere Chovve."

Education through labour" is a vision of Mahatma Gandhi. Although labour and education are two separate departments, assigning both to the same minister reflects Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's perspective. This minister, whether it's about ASHA workers, hospitals, Zoom meetings, or even foot-washing ceremonies, steps in to defend the government and the party in any controversy — without worrying about the syllabus. Despite criticisms and trolls, he openly speaks his mind and survives it all. That minister, currently holding the education portfolio, is V. Sivankutty — appearing today on Nere Chovve
