For the first rom-com of the series we watched Notting Hill. Its from 1999 so you could say its a classic now. 

We didn't think it was too bad for the genre. For a rom-com we gave it an 8/10 but as a movie we gave it a 6/10. It was okay but a little predictable, we found the supporting characters far more interesting than the main ones. 

As usual, this podcast is NSFW due to adult references and strong language. We talk about how we want to see 'Old' when it comes out. We did infact do this... we didn't love it.

If this is your favourite classic movie, I wouldn't listen!
We watched this movie and thought it was ... Okay.

We had heard so much about this 1992 classic, so we had to give it ago for our classic series and boy we were disappointed. It was thoroughly okay. We had a good time watching it but we felt that we weren't really the target audience for this movie. We didn't know enough about the history to enjoy this movie but it was okay. A solid 5/10.

For our next episode into our classic season we watched the 2007 movie - No Country for Old Men.

We still to this day aren't sure what the plot was to this movie and we weren't to keen on the ending as it left some lose ends. We chalked it up to being a 'slice of life' movie and tried to convince ourselves we didn't need to know. 

We rated this movie a 7/10. As always our podcast is 16+ due to strong language and sexual references. Plus this movie has a lot of death so probably not suitable to younger viewers anyway.

For the second classic we watched the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice. 

Although the film was relatively new, we thought the book was a classic therefore the movie is. Although this movie is PG, our podcast (as always) is 16+ and NSFW due to references and language.

So during the movie Hush there was a small scene involving a diaphragm. We focused on this for some reason throughout the movie. At the end of the movie we went on a small tangent about the ins and outs (no pun intended) of the diaphragm and all the things you could use them for. It was too long to keep in the original review but we thought it was definitely special enough to have its own bonus spot.
