New audio from Bob Woodward’s “Trump Tapes”

Bob Woodward, author of “The Trump Tapes: Bob Woodward's Twenty Interviews with President Donald Trump”, joins to discuss the recordings in which Trump talked about national security secrets, his relationship with Kim Jong Un, and his handling of the Covid pandemic. He tells Jake Tapper why he thinks Trump is an “Unparalleled danger”, and that the only time Trump wouldn’t answer a question was about whether he would peacefully leave office if he lost the 2020 election. Later, Woodward’s fellow Watergate journalist Carl Bernstein joins, and the three discuss Trump’s influence and future, and compare his presidency with Nixon’s.

Rep. Mike Turner joins to discuss The White House’s dismissal of Russia’s claim Ukraine is planning a dirty bomb attack, President Zelensky suggesting Russia is helping Iran with its nuclear program in exchange for drones, and how House Republicans may resist a big Ukraine funding package if Democrats add unrelated spending.
