God is in the business of taking us from a filthy dirty life to one that is filled with His glory. We’re going to learn how God breathes into to us His Spirit, bringing us to life so that we represent Him well to a world that is lost without Him.

God is always raising up the next generation to bring glory to His name. We’re going to learn how we can be like God, representing His character in a world that dismisses the very presence of God. We’re going to learn from our younger generation how they attempt to be like God in a godless society.

In the book of Deuteronomy 6:20-25, we find that God commands us to pass down to the next generation, the wonderful things He has done. 1 Timothy 5:17 says, “Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.” We will be honoring our elders (kupuna) as well as receive the word of God from two of our forerunners (Pastor Alex and Pastor Pauline) “the wonderful things God has done through His church.”

Whenever God wants to do something through us; He first does something in us. We’re going to learn how to prepare our hearts for God, especially when He calls us to be a part of what He is doing in the area of our community and church. God always looks for the heart before He asks for a hand.

God is the greatest giver of all. He’s given us a wonderful world to live in. He’s given us His One and only Son. He’s given us His perfect Holy Spirit. We’re going to learn how we can become like Him in being the greatest giver of all.

For some reason, I think I own everything I possess. The truth is, I steward what I have…God owns it all! When I die, I get nothing and take nothing with me. We’re going to learn what it means to steward what belongs to God.

There are so many talent shows out there where people of all ages do their best to be recognized for their talent in the hopes that they make it BIG! God has given each of us certain talents so that we use it for Him. Every person has at least one talent. We’re going to learn how we can use the gifts and talents God has given to us for His good pleasure.

Love is God’s motivation in everything He does. We’re going to learn how valuable people are to God, why His heart of grace is so amazing, and then what do we do with it once we understand His amazing grace.

People usually try everything else in the world, before coming to God. God is the only One who can love us just as we are. He’s the only One who can take us to a place in life that is far greater that what we can see for ourselves. We’re going to learn why it’s wiser to come to God instead of trying everything else first, and if we’ve tried everything else, why coming to God is that best strategic move in ones life.

King David was recognized by the early church as “A man after God’s own heart.” We’re going to learn from David how we can become people who pursues God’s heart and why it’s so important to do so in the life of a Christian.
