In recent years, several high profile leadership scandals have rocked the evangelical world. In these cases it became clear that there were blatant abuses in one or more of the three classic leadership temptations: money, sex and power. Perhaps the most subtle of these temptations surrounds the use of power. Without power, leaders can do nothing, but power can be destructive when misused, even when a leader has no intention to harm others. This seminar will identify signs and stages of misuse of power and propose practical measures to minimise the potential of mishandling it or abusing others.
