  • Spread the Fire

Pastor Dale teaches that revival is never meant to be contained, it is meant to spread. In week four of Back to the Fire, he shows from the Great Commission and the example of Jesus that spreading the fire starts with having the same attitude Christ had.

    1. We spread the fire by becoming servants.

    2. We spread the fire by dying to self.

    3. We spread the fire, and God exalts us.

  • Keep The Fire Burning

Pastor Dale uses the fire that was never to go out on the altar in Leviticus to show what keeps God's presence alive in our lives. In week three of Back to the Fire, he teaches that the Old Testament sacrifices were a shadow pointing to Jesus, and that we keep the fire burning by anchoring our faith in what He did on the cross.

    1. We keep the fire burning by trusting and depending on Jesus and the sacrifice He made on the cross of Calvary.

    2. There is only one way to God, and that is through Jesus Christ.

  • Plow Burning Faith

Pastor Dale looks at the call of Elisha, who burned his plow and had no backup plan when God called. In week two of Back to the Fire, he teaches that if we want to reignite our passion for God, we need faith that is willing to leave the past behind.

    1. Plow burning faith is faithfulness in your current situation.

    2. Plow burning faith is obedient to God.

    3. Plow burning faith is evidenced by a servant's heart.

  • Fan the Flame

Pastor Dale opens the Back to the Fire series, which is about reigniting our passion, purpose, and pursuit of God. In week one he teaches that every believer has a spiritual gift and must stir it up and use it, because the fire doesn't die when God stops moving but when we stop feeding it.

    1. We must fan into flames the gifts of God given to us.

    2. We must depend on the Holy Spirit.

    3. We must know that God is able.

  • I Thought I Knew

Drawing on a scene from The Wild Robot, Pastor Cory shows how often we think we understand what God is doing when we really only see in part. In this last week of Blockbuster Summer, he points to the road to Emmaus and the prophet's story in 2 Kings to ask whether we will still trust and follow Him.

    1. I thought I understood what was happening.

    2. I thought I understood what I saw.

    3. I thought I knew the whole story.

  • Seat at the Table

Pastor Dale explains where we are on God's prophetic time clock and what that means for the church's mission today. In week three of Blockbuster Summer, he teaches that God has a seat at His table for everyone, and that our job is to invite people to it.

    1. A seat at the table is available for everyone who asks.

    2. A seat at the table for others depends on you and me.

    3. A seat at the table is an invitation to join God's family.

  • Be the First You

Using a scene from the movie Fighting with My Family, Pastor Cory reminds us not to try to be the next anybody, but to be the first you. In week two of Blockbuster Summer, he teaches from the parable of the talents that the enemy does not have to take your calling, he only has to keep you from using it.

    1. Don't downplay what God gave you.

    2. Ignore the urge to compare.

    3. Give God what you've got. God rewards faithfulness, not fruitfulness.

  • Matthew

Matthew was a hated tax collector, yet Jesus saw something in him that everyone else missed. In the final week of Disciples, Pastor Dale shows that Jesus sees our hearts, calls us to follow him right away, and saves us so that we can bless others.

    1. Jesus sees what other people miss.

    2. Matthew shows us how to respond when Jesus calls: follow him with radical obedience, with no delays and no negotiating.

    3. Our number one priority after Jesus calls us is to be a blessing to others and reach those who are lost.

  • Matthias

Judas lost his assignment, and Matthias was chosen to take his place among the twelve. In week seven of Disciples, Pastor Dale uses Matthias to teach that we must hold on to what we have in Christ, and that our victory comes through faith in what Jesus did on the cross.

    1. Matthias teaches us we could lose our crown, so we are to hold on to what we have.

    2. Jesus is coming soon, so be ready and stay alert.

    3. Victory is won through faith in Jesus and his finished work on the cross.
