A project coming to Milwaukee’s East Side as the DPW seeks to redevelop the swing park below the Holton Street bridge. Jeff Sherman is joined by Milwaukee Common Council Alderman Jonathan Brostoff to talk more about it.

– COFFEE INDEX: Jeff went to Wantable Cafe and Jaslyn went to Valentine Coffee in the Third Ward. Alderman Brostoff mentions a new Valentine Coffee coming to his neck of the woods.

– Traffic calming measures are coming to East North Avenue; Jeff asks Alderman Brostoff more about what’s going on there; he says it will be done by November.

– Jeff asks Alderman Brostoff about alternate transportation expansion beyond car travel. He’d like to see the HOP expanded, more accessibility for walkers among other things. Jeff also asks him about proximity to UWM to help both Milwaukee and the university.
