Wow, can you say breaking promises? My apologies for the long absence (again) even though I promised I was going to be more consistent. What is trust...promises kept over time!
Anyhoo, in this episode, I'm going to talk about the 1 question that I think new real estate agents ought to ask themselves when choosing a broker.
Hello fellow agents or soon-to-be agents! In this episode, I'm going to talk about how difficult it's been to pull off my 'Year 2 Reset' and how stressed and exhausted I've been lately. All of this failure and turmoil has helped me come to my new favorite tattoo slogan of 'Optimize or Die.'

This episode marks the start of my second year with EXP Realty. While I've actually been a real estate for a year and a half, the first 6 months of my career were consumed by Covid and trying to figure out how to pivot and start making money! Those first 6 months were with Keller Williams before switching to EXP on June 23 of 2020.
The reason that I'm calling this a 'reset' is that I have decided to make some necessary changes in myself and my business. We all need to constantly assess what's working for us and what isn't. This episode is a preview of some of the changes that I'm making in my business and I hope that they provide insight and value for you as well!

Are you a control freak? If so, reconsider your profession as a real estate agent!
In this episode, we are introducing a new segment called 'Story Time' where I'll routinely share stories that new agents might never have heard of or even considered could happen. My goal is to help new real estate agents be better prepared for what they might encounter.
This particular story is about coincidences, conspiracy theory listing agents, and doing your best to handle situations that are completely out of your control.
In this episode, we are going to talk about a trend that I've noticed lately in some agents. Everybody knows that a real estate agent is supposed to be able to competently negotiate on their client's behalf. However, when was the last time you received training in this skill or learned anything about it? I'm going to talk about a very unprofessional way that many agents approach negotiation from the very start.
In this episode, we are going to jump into the book by Dale Carnegie called 'How to Win Friends & Influence People.' This is a great book that was written back in 1936 and has been read over and over by the world's most successful people. Interestingly enough, the first chapter of this book is VERY similar to the first agreement in the book by Miguel Ruiz called 'The Four Agreements.'
Hello new real estate agents and I hope that you are all doing great! I thought that I was going to shelve the podcast but I just couldn't stay away.
It's been a little while but I've decided to come back and try to be a resource for new agents looking for advice, strategies, and general discussion regarding the life of a new agent. It can be pretty tough out there and I'm hoping that this podcast will be a place where you can find value.
In this episode, I'm going to tell you about the biggest mistake I've made so far. If you like, please send an email to [email protected] with your biggest mistakes or questions that you'd like answered. All the best!
Well, folks, that's it! I am retiring from the label, 'new real estate agent.'
Thanks so much for going on this journey with me. I truly hope that you have found VALUE here.

This episode is about the first agreement from the book, "The Four Agreements" by Miguel Ruiz. You'd be surprised how powerful your word can be!
Also, I couldn't help talking about Grant Cardone joining eXp.
This episode is all about a listener to the podcast who is working a full-time job AND doing real estate part-time. He is looking for advice and a "better strategy" and I do my best to provide him with exactly that.
At the same time, one of the 'Four Agreements' comes into play in his situation and we start to explore that as well.
