New To Weeaboo

Episode 2 is here! Things start off with a small bit about some recent happenings in the world of anime, before diving into this month's topic: A Place Further Than The Universe. This anime series came out in winter 2018, and it quickly became well loved. Ostensibly, it's about 4 high-schoolers going to Antarctica. However, there is so much more to it than that. You should probably check it out on Crunchyroll before listening to us, because we get into some serious spoilers.

Welcome to a new podcast: New To Weeaboo! Join our hosts, Nemesis and Alca7raz, as they explore the weird and wonderful world of anime. They are relatively new to the medium themselves, and hope to bring a slightly less cynical perspective.

In this pilot episode, they start off with one of the notable animes of 2018, Zombie Land Saga! Or is it Zombieland Saga? It's never quite consistent. Anyway, they'll be talking about what made them enjoy this one so much, a few things they wish were done better, and what they hope for from a theoretical season 2. Join us!

And check out Zombie Land Saga on Crunchyroll!
