Offset was shot Monday evening near the valet area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, but is stable in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries as police detained two people and continue investigating. Lil Tjay was arrested in Florida in connection to a fight preceding Offset’s shooting, charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct-affray, and released on $500 bond. After his release, Lil Tjay denied being the shooter while angrily calling Offset a “rat” in front of media, as his attorney claimed the arrest is unrelated to the shooting. Police allege Lil Tjay initiated the chain of events leading to Offset being shot by directing his group to start a fight. Taylor Frankie Paul was granted up to eight hours per week of supervised visitation with her son amid an ongoing custody and domestic violence dispute with ex Dakota Mortensen. Taylor Frankie Paul also filed a restraining order against Dakota Mortensen, accusing him of stalking, assault, and escalating abusive behavior, while disputing his claims against her.
