WTMJ host Jeff Sherman began the show by discussing the breaking news from the United States of America Surgeon General warning that drinking alcohol has a high risk of causing cancer and previewed the show focusing on new careers in the new year.

-Ray’s Wine & Spirits in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin announced on social media that it would be opening a new location, complete with a deli, in Mequon. Jeff recalled memories from the original.
Jeff Sherman was joined in-studio by Tedd Lookatch, consulting partner at ERA Group in Wisconsin to discuss what to ask and look for when buying a new cellular phone.
-Jeff asked Tedd about hidden fees in cellular phone contracts and how to get them waived and other cost-saving tips. Jeff also asked him about his recent career switch and how to handle them along with training and mentoring.
New Year, New You: Transformation coach, speaker and writer Ben Katt joined Jeff Sherman in-studio to discuss transforming oneself in a new year through new careers and other transitions.
-Ben's brother Dan owns Good City Brewing and he and Jeff briefly discussed Explorium BrewPub acquiring the brewery. Next, they continued discussing career success, how to measure it as well Ben’s prison meditation project. Ben explained the insight he got from working in prisons.
Jeff discussed the domination of Amazon, Costco and Walmart in retail purchasing, outplaying smaller local retailers and dollar stores then commented on the Good City Brewing acquisition and the other breweries and companies that closed in 2024.
