"On the massive controversy over a new Assam citizen's list that excludes 40 lakh people from the state, Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said that the draft released on Monday is not a final one yet. The list has the names of Assam people and their family who have been living in the state before 1972. Non- Assamese but Indian citizens living in the state have also been added to the list, provided they have proof. Like the identity proof or aadhar or any other ID proof. (rajnath byte) All genuine Indian citizens will be added to the list. And there will be no bias in preparing the list. said the Government. To counter that Ripon Bora a congress leader representing from Assam, said that many women's names have been dropped because as they couldn't produce linkage certificate. As there are many children in the list that were left out. Many children dont have birth certificate due to illiteracy, Bora claims. So it is clear that apart from failing to detect the illegal bangladeshi immigrats, administrative failure is also one of the vital issue why these 40 lakh citizens were excluded from the list. Rather than politicising such a sensitive issue, the opposition as well as the Government should take the responsibility of educating what NRC draft all about.

A UK court said that it will rule out Vijay mallya's extradition trail only after Indian authorities submit a video of the cell at the Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai where the authorities plan to keep Vijay Mallya. This happened the day the embattled liquor tycoon complained that there is no 'natural light' and 'fresh air' inside the Indian prison. The UK court has given 3 weeks of time to submit the videos to see the windows of the cell and find out whether the cell receives appropriate natural lights. A tagged "criminal" demanding a list of privileges from the Indian Government. so is it the failure of the Indian agencies to allow such demands and even entertaining them. more importantly, i am surprised that UK courts are checking the living condition of Indian prison when there are innumerable cases of rapes, violence, racial attacks and even murder happening in their own jails. I think UK has forgotten that it doesn't rule our country anymore we have thrown them out almost 80 years back, I think its high we remind them of that again.

The Muzaffarpur shelter home case where more than 34 girls were allegedly sexually abused has recently come to light. The medical reports had earlier indicated that 29 out of 44 girls living at the shelter homes had been raped and molested for several weeks. Soon after the reports were out the case was handed over to the CBI. in the recent revelation, the state funded NGO, allegedly resulted in abortions and death of at least one girl. The CBI inquiry had further informed how these shelter homes were able to function for so long with no accountability, either in their finances or the welfare of the inmates. These girls in this destitute home used to cut themselves i order to avoid sexual abused.The most worrying part is that the state has a child welfare committee of which the chairperson is now among the accused. Shelter homes are meant to provide safe security for children and women who have been abandoned or have no family support. But when those who are entrusted with the protection turn into predator, its high time the state should seriously take a strict action to ensure that this does not happen again.

Around 40 lakh people in assam have been left out of a draft list of citizens which got released today. This was the second and final draft of the NRC was published today was published with 2.9 crore names out of the total 3.29 crore applicants in Assam. The state's national register of citizen has been updated for the first time since 1951 to keep an account for illegal migration from neighbouring country of Bangladesh. Responding to the draft Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh added that Some people are unnecessarily trying to create an atmosphere of fear. Meanwhile, west bengal chief minister and trinamool congress chief Mamata Banerjee had openly lashed out at the centre over the Assam's NRC calling it an attempt to isolate the Bengalis, Bihari and Muslims out of the state. The Officials have asserted that this is only a draft, and no one would be deported or punished based on it. Since Bhartiya Janta Party came to power, crimes against women in uttar pradesh have increased in every segment. This fact was revealed in the month of April by the UP legislative assembly. According to the recent report, 26% more rapes have been reported in the state UP between April 2017 to January 2018 as compared April 2016 to January 2017. The state government which promised to maintain law and order in the state failed miserably. The overall crimes against women have now gone up by 33%.
