Security forces started a massive search operation today in around two dozen villages of Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. The operation began following reports about presence of terrorists in the villages of Putrigam, Rohmu, Rajpora, Matrigam, Goosu, Frasipora and others. The Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee on Monday announced that the ticket aspirant for the upcoming polls in Madhya Pradesh must have a huge social media presence to avail a ticket. In an issued letter, the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee has made it a mandate for all the state and district post holders, current MLAs and ticket aspirants to get active on social media sites. The letter further added that before allotment of tickets, the social media presence of the ticket aspirant will be taken into consideration. Torrential rains lashed parts of Delhi-NCR region on today morning bringing some respite from high humidity in the city. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted showers in the area along with a cloudy weather. The Delhi traffic police tweeted alerts about flooding on some roads in the city, and asked people to avoid taking certain routes. Power supply was also affected in some areas because of the downpour. The minimum temperature was recorded at 23.5 degrees, three notches below the season's average. The Met forecast said that more spells of rains and thundershowers to occur during the day. According to the department, the monsoon axis is looming over states Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Jharkhand due to which heavy rains are expected in the following days.

After former President and Congress veteran leader Pranab Mukherjee, industrialist Ratan Tata to share stage with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. He has accepted the invite from an RSS affiliated NGO. He will attend an event organised in Mumbai by RSS affiliated NGO call Nana Palkar Smriti Samiti. He had earlier met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in December 2016 at RSS headquarter. In June this year the former President attended the RSS function in the party's Nagpur headquarters. And now Rantan Tata and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat are been invited by Nana Palkar Smriti Samiti, an NGO dedicated to service of patients.
