Im März fanden nicht nur die Chemnitzer Linux Tage 2024 statt: so sind erste Details zu Fedora 41 durchgesickert, während die openSUSE Leap 15.6 Beta erscheint. Redis ändert die Lizenz und verärgert damit große Teile der Community. Desktop-User freuen sich diesen Monat mit GNOME 46 und KDE Plasma 6 gleich über zwei neue Versionen. Parallel gibt es eine erste Version des Fedora Cosmic Atomic-Spins. Linux 6.8 erscheint mit neuen Funktionen und Treibern, während das cURL-Projekt die Einstellung der x64 32-bit-Variante plant.
