In the Christian calendar, this time of year is called Advent--the time that we prepare our hearts for Christ's birth. The moment when he came from heaven to earth is what we call the Incarnation, and the fact that it happened changes our lives in every way. Please come this Sunday and bring a friend to hear the amazing story.

Hey family, we're up to the fourth week of our series called JESUS. Our Savior invites us on a lifetime walk with him. So far, we've learned what it means to come to him, be with him, and abide in him. This week, we'll talk about loving others the way Jesus does. If that seems impossible, join us this Sunday and bring an open mind. Service begins at 10 a.m. at 360 Schermerhorn. Kids' Church starts at 10 as well.

Hey family, we're up to the third week of our series called JESUS. So far, Jesus has invited us to come to him, and to be with him. This week, we'll learn what it means to "abide" in him. Not just to hang around and spend time with him--although that's part of it. To abide in Christ means to keep up a habit of constant close communion with him–to be always leaning on him, resting on him, pouring out our hearts to him, and using him as our fountain of life and strength.

Hey family, how we imagine God will always determine how we approach him. If we imagine him as angry, we will hide from him. If we imagine him as disappointed, we will hang our heads in shame. In Psalm 18, King David gives us several images for who God is. If we have eyes to see, we will know that God is our rock, refuge, and shield––we can run to him, trust him, and follow him with confidence and joy. When God asks a question, he is not asking for information. Join us this Sunday as we take a walk through the Garden of Eden and listen to the first three questions God asks. What should be our response?

Hey family!

I am so excited about tomorrow, my first Sunday back from being away from preaching over the summer. We are going to be talking about what it means to be hated for Christ's sake--and we'll learn how to walk in his power to do his will for the good of others. I am so looking forward to being with you guys at 10 a.m., 360 Schermerhorn St.!
