The Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up for their opening game against the Jaguars as Week 1 of the NFL season is officially here. LeSean McCoy has officially signed his contract and will play in Week 1 according to Andy Reid. What will his role with the Chiefs be both short-term and long-term? NFL Daily host Harrison Graham gets you caught up on the latest rumors & news surrounding the Kansas City Chiefs.

Patrick Mahomes won the 2018 NFL MVP and led the Chiefs to the 3rd-best scoring offense in NFL history last season. Could the offense be even better in 2019? Peter Schrager of Fox Sports believes Mahomes could have the best season ever for an NFL QB and that the Chiefs offense as a whole could improve as well. The Tremon Smith to running back experiment appears to be over as he has been moved back to cornerback and is listed as a CB on the depth chart. Will Smith be cut after Week 1 when De’Anthony Thomas can be activated? Harrison gives his thoughts on that as well.

Week 1 of the NFL season is here and the San Francisco 49ers are set for kickoff. 49ers fans have tons of questions related to team personnel both in the short term and long term. The Nick Mullens vs. Jimmy Garoppolo questions continue to come up. Could Mullens be the starter in 2020 if Jimmy G struggles this season? Maybe San Francisco drafts a QB in next year’s draft. 49ers Report host Thomas Mott answers all 49ers-related questions on today’s mailbag!

Jordan Matthews didn’t make the 49ers 53-man roster, which leaves San Francisco with a young WR core. Kendrick Bourne made the team. Rookies Deebo Samuel & Jalen Hurd should play a lot. Who will emerge as the 49ers best WR? The 49ers paid Jerick McKinnon a lot of money, yet he will miss the entire season for the second straight year. Was that a mistake? How many wins will the 49ers have in 2019? Thomas answers all those questions and more.

- Can you see Nick Mullens becoming the starter in 2020 if Garoppolo has a bad year in 2019?

- Thomas Mott honestly you should get the silver play button from YouTube, you deserve it not Tom Downey or Mitchell Renz

-Best WR on the 49ers?

- Why do we put limits on us when we have a great coach deep running backs and a good d line. Kyle has done more with a lot less?

- Have you ever wondered why its so many 49er haters in the media?

The Kansas City Chiefs 53-man roster is settled, at least for the most part as they made their final preseason roster cuts. News broke that Andy Reid and the Chiefs are signing veteran RB LeSean McCoy who played under Reid in Philadelphia for 4 seasons. How does that affect the RB Depth Chart? The Chiefs also made a few trades before the roster cut deadline as they traded fellow veteran RB Carlos Hyde to the Texans for OL Martinas Rankin. CB Mark FIelds also got moved to Detroit. NFL Daily host Harrison Graham breaks down the entire Chiefs’ 53-man roster and gives his thoughts on the players who didn’t make the cut.

The Chiefs also had to make some tough decisions by cutting guys like WR Cody Thompson and OL Jeff Allen. GM Brett Veach hinted that Allen could be back. In other roster cuts, QBs Kyle Shurmur and Chase Litton did not show enough to crack the Chiefs final roster. Shurmur should be a strong practice squad candidate. Harrison Graham goes through every position and breaks down the Chiefs depth chart.

2020 NFL Mock Draft with the start of the college football and NFL regular season nearly here. Yes, it’s still a way-too-early edition of a mock draft, but with football back, it’s time to take a look at who could be first round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft.

It will be a QB & WR heavy draft with college superstars such as Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert, Jerry Jeudy, CeeDee Lamb, Jake Fromm, Jalen Reagor & Tylan Wallace expected to be first round draft picks. #NFLDraft #NFLMockDraft #2020NFLDraft

The 2019 NFL offseason is almost over with training camp & preseason wrapping up, so it’s time for the final projection for the New Orleans Saints 53-man roster. This Saints 2019 team has more depth than in recent years, so New Orleans will be faced with tough decisions at RB, WR, OL, DL, CB & S. There are some heated roster battles that have been ongoing throughout Saints training camp & the NFL preseason, including the backup QB battle between Teddy Bridgewater & Taysom Hill.

At running back, Alvin Kamara holds the top spot & Latavius Murray solidifies the #2 spot, but Carter projects a surprise cut at RB3 with Devine Ozigba earning the nod over Dwayne Washington. The Saints WR corps is stacked with Michael Thomas, Ted Ginn Jr. & Tre’Quan Smith locks at WR. Could Lil’Jordan Humphrey end up sneaking onto the roster?

On the defensive side, the Saints have 9 DL making the final roster, which includes David Onyemata who is suspended for week 1 vs. the Houston Texans. At CB, Marshon Lattimore & Eli Apple are locks. There could be some surprise roster cuts including Ken Crawley & Kayvon Webster. The Saints could keep 5 safeties on the roster, consisting of Marcus Williams, Vonn Bell & Chauncey Gardner-Johnson. Two safeties who could be shockingly cut are veteran Marcus Sherels & rookie Saquan Hampton. A lot of the players who just missed the cut will likely earn a spot on the Saints’ practice squad.

The 2019 NFL season is almost here as the final preseason games are wrapping up, so it’s time for the final projection of the Kansas City Chiefs 53-man roster. The Chiefs have several tough decisions to make as they trim from 90 players down to 53. Kansas City has great depth at RB, WR, OL, DL, & LB. Who will not make the cut for Andy Reid’s Chiefs? One spot that’s not complicated is quarterback as reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes will start and Matt Moore replaces the injured Chad Henne as the backup. Look for Kyle Shurmur to land on the practice squad. NFL Daily host Harrison Graham breaks down his full 53-man roster and practice squad projections for the Kansas City Chiefs.

At running back, Damien Williams and Darwin Thompson are locks to make the team. Will Carlos Hyde? Harrison thinks the veteran may be on the outside looking in with the younger Darrel Williams also in the mix. The Chiefs are very deep at wide receiver this year with Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, DeMarcus Robinson and Mecole Hardman for sure making the team. Byron Pringle, De’Anthony Thomas and Cody Thompson are battling for spots as well. Could Kansas City keep 7 WRs? Harrison explores that possibility as well.

The defensive side of the ball led by new defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo is hoping to improve greatly in 2019. The pass rush should be disruptive with Frank Clark and Chris Jones creating havoc. Alex Okafor, Derrick Nnadi and Emmanuel Ogbah are comfortably on the team as well. Who else makes the cut? At linebacker the Reggie Ragland, Anthony Hitchens and Damien Williams are your likely starters. Darron Lee is safe as well. Several others are jockeying for the final 2 or 3 spots. The Chiefs secondary is probably the weakest link on this team outside of Tyrann Mathieu. Juan Thornhill and Daniel Sorensen are the other locks at safety. Kendall Fuller, Charvarius Ward and Bashaud Breeland are safe at CB. Who gets the depth spots? Harrison Graham projects the Chiefs final 53-man roster before the 2019 NFL regular season kicks off!
