Something we all will experience in life.

Some will brush them away.

Others will feel the pain,

The suffering,

The betrayal.

We all will experience hurt in life.

The hurt of another lashing out on you…

It their own pain,

Not yours.

But why let your hurt affects others?

It’s their pain.

Always remember:

It has nothing to do with you,

But it still hurts.

Yes, your feelings are valid,

But why hurt another in the process?

We all will experience this in life.

How will you deal with your feelings?

For the birds singing in the morning.

For your ever so grace.

For everything done in my life

And everything to come.

For your ever so loving grace when I was wrong.

For all the times you protected me

When I was supposed to be die.

I’m so thankful for your

Love, grace, and mercy every single day,

Even on the darkest ones.

Thank you for always being there and loving me

And always providing a table and a room

for me to sit at when others didn’t welcome me.

Amen.

Your grandma has spent many nights praying for you.

Her prayers are with you every day and night,

When life gets hard,

On your best day,

And on your worst.

The prayers have saved you many times

Without you knowing it.

Her prayers were a cry to the Lord

For your protection.

Even when the devil sends his angels,

Always remember

to thank your grandma for her prayers.

It’s not determined by your attribution,

But by what you do for others on this wonderful planet.

We all have a calling:

Some are big,

Some are small.

Always remember that you have a calling

And your value is not determined by others.

It is not!

Always remember:

It’s not determined by others.

Amen!

It is not defined by the tone of your skin

Or by the air that you breathe.

Nor by the school you attend

or the neighborhood you were raised in.

It is defined by the knowledge you have acquired

On this beautiful earth.

It is not defined by what others think of you,

But by the adventures you have been through.

It is not defined by your weird glasses,

But by the knowledge you share with the world.

It’s the knowledge you obtained through your

Lifetime.

We all will experience this in life,

But the question is:

How will you overcome it?

It’s so scary sometimes.

It takes over your body.

It leaves a yearning in your eyes.

It’s like you want something so bad

that you will do anything to get it.

It makes you forget who you are.

It feels like the evil one is upon you.

It’s this feeling you just cannot explain.

You shall know want when you encounter it.

Don’t ever let your skin color define who you are

Or determine your ability on this planet.

You’re here for a reason.

Never forget it.

Society may make it difficult,

But it still does not define your

Intelligence,

Beauty,

Ambition

Or purpose.

You are the only one who can define yourself .

Don’t ever let someone define you based

On your skin color,

ethnic group

Or race.

Don’t ever let someone make you feel less

Because of your skin.

God made all of us beautiful.

Every pigment is beautiful.

Never forget it.

Amen!

New Decade 

Some people will think of them as bad,

But they teach us a lot in life.

We’re constantly learning and evolving

On this beautiful planet.

You’re never too old or too young to learn.

It’s life teaching us a lesson,

But will we listen?

Mistakes are not bad nor good,

But it is the lessons we receive from them

that truly matter.

Don’t ever let it

Define you or your ability on this planet.

God placed you here for a reason.

Never forget it.

It can be the worst thing ever in life.

It should never be

Looked at as a God.

It’s a resource to be used for good,

Not for evil… never for evil.
