Through life’s ups and downs.

We are still here,

Even when life didn’t go as planned.

We are here.

We stand tall and strong

Through life

One breath at a time.

We are here to take a stand.

It’s an outcry

For peace,

Mercy,

And joy.

It’s powerful—

Not to be defined,

But embraced.

It’s also love.

We can use it for

Evil or Good.

It’s our choice,

But just be reminded that

It is powerful.

It’s all around us.

They are the rulers.

It’s all the authority in the air,

But God is the only

Powerful Being.

Never forget it…

Never!

Not for accusation,

But to define our

New beginning.

It is us waking.

It is us standing up

For what is right.

No matter what the evil one told you,

It’s our right,

It’s our freedom,

It’s our voice,

It’s our new beginning.

We are here to stand up.

Never forget it!

Society defines it.

Why let it be defined?

Why let evil define it?

Why judge someone’s skin?

God does define our skin,

But allows entrance for all.

It’s beauty.

Doesn’t ever let it define you.

We define it.

It’s our beauty.

Day 40: Evil Eye

When the evil one is upon you,

You shall know

By their actions,

Not so their words.

Without acts, their words mean nothing,

But you shall know by

Their Evil Eye.

It’s a time to clear your mind

From all the things going on in this world.

You’re never too old or too young

To sit with yourself and think

About your future life.

What’s to come?

It’s time, not to regret your past, but to remember it.

It’s all your dreams and aspirations in life.

It’s time to thank your heavenly Father

For everything He’s done for you.

So far!

It’s a human’s right.

No man should own it

Or have their face upon it.

It was given to us by our Creator.

God is the only one who owns it.

Even if you’re the richest person in the world,

You still do not own it.

It was created and given to us

To inhabit.

Remember that you do not own it.

You inhabit it.

Therefore, your face should not be upon it!

It hurts.

It’s all the things

People say about you.

It hurts.

All the pain.

It’s hard to forget everything

That was said.

It hurts.

We will live through the problem of today,

Because tomorrow will be beautiful.

But today, we will progress

and work for a better

tomorrow.

Some days are just so hard.

An inhale and exhale
