It’s finally October, and there is likely no better way for us to kick off the finest month of the year than to discuss a very silly killer scarecrow movie that has sadly been mostly forgotten in the 30 years since its release - 1995’s NIGHT OF THE SCARECROW! If you need any sort of explanation for why this is prime HMN fodder, look no further than people dying from magical straw spewing from every orifice, a guy getting threshed to death by his own farm equipment, and of course a pilgrim sex orgy flashback. This one was hard to come by, so we’re hoping the HMN Effect gets it a proper Blu-ray release soon.
