A new Emerson College national poll finds President Trump’s approval at just 40%, with 56% disapproving, while Democrats hold an 8-point lead on the generic congressional ballot. The defense rested in the Lindsay Clancy trial after forensic psychiatrist Dr. Phillip Resnick testified that Clancy was “frankly psychotic” when she killed her three children. Prosecutors then called rebuttal witnesses, including psychiatrist Dr. Avram Mack, who said he found no evidence of psychosis or mania and believed Clancy could control her actions. Closing arguments are expected Monday or Tuesday, and Dan discussed the very latest, including the outpouring of support from people who gathered outside the courthouse to stand by Clancy.
