Massachusetts is facing a significant clinician crisis, with an ongoing loss of primary care physicians and behavioral health providers. Physicians over the age of 65 are increasing as new doctors entering the field are decreasing. Add that to other factors like burnout, hospital staffing pressures, and low reimbursement rates from insurers, and you can see why Massachusetts has a doctor dilemma. Bradley spoke with Dr. George Clairmont about what lies ahead in healthcare.

While the current 2026 Winter Olympic Games are ongoing, we’re reminded of the time Boston was in the running to bring the 2024 Summer Olympics to the city. Boston beat out L.A., D.C., and San Francisco to be the official U.S. bid. After opposition grew and a movement ensued, a vote was made to terminate Boston’s bid. Are you glad the Olympics never came to Boston, or do you wish they did? What impact would that have had on Boston if our city hosted the Olympics?

It was on February 9, 1964, that The Beatles first appeared in front of an American audience of 73 million viewers on The Ed Sullivan Show, kicking off the cultural phenomenon known as Beatlemania. It was also in February that The Beatles performed their first U.S. concert at the Washington Coliseum! Needless to say, the month of February is widely recognized by many Beatles fans!

Have you noticed following the Covid pandemic, people seem to be ruder or short tempered? A recent survey from the Pew Research Center finds half of those surveyed say that Americans have gotten ruder since the pandemic. Bradley shared some of his experiences at concerts and other places where he's seen more rudeness in the wake of the pandemic and heard about listeners' experiences with rude individuals out and about as well!

Michael Coyne, the Dean of the Massachusetts School of Law, joined Bradley in studio to discuss all the major trials to keep an eye out for in 2026. Some trials include the Luigi Mangione trial, who is accused of fatally shooting UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in 2024, the trial (which has not bene set yet) of Tyler Robinson, who is accused of fatally shooting conservative political activist Charlie Kirk, as well as a case closer to home, the case of Kelsey Fitzsimmons, the North Andover police officer who was shot by a colleague last June.
