The longer the war goes on, the worse the aggressors’ position becomes, both militarily and economically.

Once again, the imperialists seem to have launched an aggressive, illegal war based on the false assumption that they had the ability to snatch a quick victory that would be followed up with a prolonged bout of resource looting. But it remains the case that massacring civilians is not a proof of military prowess. The warmongers may live to find that they have precipitated a redrawing of the map of west Asia that is entirely different from the one they were aiming at.
