Arguments about flags, religion and national identity are a diversion. The only struggle worthy of our time and attention is the struggle for working-class liberation from capitalist exploitation.
As imperialist forces at home and abroad sharpen their tools of oppression and repression, driving both Britain and the wider world into war, they can only be stopped by the coordinated action of a united working class. There is one enemy to fight: the billionaire financier elites. There is one war to win: the class war. There is one army to build: the united army of class-conscious workers.

This week Comrade Joti spoke with Garland Nixon about the stunning advance of the Yemeni national-liberation forces. They looked at the background to the previous ceasefire with Saudi Arabia and the various ways in which the reopening of the war front in Yemen has rebounded – on the imperialist camp in general and on the Saudi ruling elite in particular.
There is only one way to stop this juggernaut in its tracks: that is for the workers on the home front, in the heartlands of imperialism, to wake up, get organised and refuse to allow the war machine to function.

The reopening of the Yemen front and attempts to link Ukraine to the middle-east war show clearly that escalation not peace is Washington’s aim.
There is every reason to expect that the resistance forces, who have been preparing for decades, knowing well that this confrontation would ultimately be forced on them, will in the end prevail. Ensuring that the British working class finally begins to move and to throw its weight onto the scales against our common imperialist enemy is the most urgent and essential task of anti-imperialists and socialists in Britain.

October 08 The Drive to War Against Russia Under the Guise of Peace | Ranjeet Brar

In this interview, Ranjeet Brar, General Secretary of the CPGB-ML speaks on the recent comments made by Jonathon Powell, the former UK National Security Adviser to the now former prime minister Keir Starmer, which desired to see increased military strikes against Russia. Despite the pleas for 'peace' from the Western side, the actions undertaken by the West, such as the continued arming of Ukraine, are in complete contradiction. Powell, Starmer, Burnham, Trump, and their ilk are merely spokespeople for their imperialist systems and will only ever speak in terms of peace in order to manufacture consent for the war drive that they will never defer from.
In fewer words, the drive to war against Russia is peace by arming Ukraine, peace by war, and peace through the balkanisation of Russia for a second bonanza, the first having been the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991.

October 05 Yemen’s resistance forces gain strategic hold over Red Sea port and coastline

Yemeni fighters pose with the wreckage of an F15SA, the first fighter plane of its kind to be shot down with a surface-to-air missile. The tail number (5529) confirms that it is from the 55th squadron of the Saudi airforce, based at the King Khaled airbase.
The Ansar Allah-led national government in Sanaa has stunned the world with a lightning offensive, liberating significant territory and taking full control of the strategic Bab al-Mandeb strait.

October 03 India’s cockroach revolt: from spontaneous anger to organised class struggle

India’s young rebels have discovered their power. They have also discovered that a resignation is not a transformation.
The movement has emerged from a stratum of young people that Indian capitalism has educated and then rendered surplus. Official statistics show unemployment among graduates aged 15 to 29 at 29.1 percent – nine times higher than for those unable to read or write. For educated young people, the labour market increasingly resembles a lottery with a huge entry fee, and the competition for gainful employment has fuelled an exam coaching industry, with poor families selling assets and mortgaging land to meet the fees. A leaked question paper is therefore not simply an administrative inconvenience; it can destroy an entire family’s plans and render its sacrifices meaningless.

October 02 Burnham ratcheting up Britain’s drive to war

The Russians have known for decades that Britain was secretly behind many efforts to destroy their sovereignty. But its increasingly open involvement in attacks on Russian soil now give Russia the right under international law to strike back.
Burnham claims that his government will pursue ‘market-friendly socialism’, which apparently includes such socialist mainstays (!) as fiscal discipline (ie, defending the profits of finance capital) and welfare cuts (making the poorest foot the bill). His real priorities have been made clear by the commitment to spend £3 billion a year on military funding to Ukraine ‘for as long as necessary’.
