This is a movement that addresses a real need - the need for an anti-war movement that is sincere and effective.

An anti-war movement that recognises that monopoly capitalism, corporate greed, the imperialist financiers in the city of london and wall street are responsible for all the many fronts of war, of despoliation and plunder, from Gaza to Venezuela, Iran to the Sahel, From Ukraine to Sudan. From Cuba to Korea.

A movement that understands and is not afraid to acknowledge that our “Labour” government are hell bent on driving to world war three with Russia and China. That it is “UK Labour” who control the tame opposition, the trade union movement, the astro-turfed fake-left in Britain, and echo and amplify the politics and needs of imperialism, conducting their influence to British workers. A movement that sees that no movement that leads back to “Labour” can be sincere or effective.

All the wars and genocides are being perpetrated to further the exploitation of the mass of humanity’s working people, and loot the resources of those nations. To make profits for the corporate elite. And every “Labour” MP has sold their sole to the capitalists for their own petty privilege. They are the enemies of the working class and the enemies of humanity. Labour is a party of genocide and war.

A closer look at the event flyer revealed something strange but significant: there was no indication whatsoever of who had organised this demonstration.

The image shows a poem against islamophobic scapegoating displayed on a London bus stop. The sad truth is that, whatever the subjective intentions of those workers who turn out in support of such sentiments, they are objectively performing a vital political function for British imperialism. Specifically: keeping workers divided at home while drumming up support for imperialist wars in the middle east and for the genocidal zionist entity.

What did the Nazis’ eugenicist-in-chief have to do with the fabricated Katyn massacre evidence that is still being circulated by western media today?

Imperialism’s lust for war knows no bounds, nor do its efforts to cover up its endless string of atrocities and war crimes. Pablo Picasso’s ‘Massacre in Korea’ condemned US atrocities in the Korean war. Yet Nazi war crimes in WW2 are still being covered up – no longer by a dying German fascist regime but by US imperialism and its European partners. Whether openly fascist or supposedly ‘democratic’, there is no lie the imperialists would not tell in order to besmirch communism and keep the masses away from its liberating influence.

Virtually nothing is being reported about this latest war in Afghanistan by British media, despite having given rise already to hundreds of civilian deaths and the displacement of thousands from their homes.

Afghanistan is the lynchpin of the central Asian states, referred to by Zbigniew Brzezinsky as the ‘central Asian Balkans’ and considered crucial for the domination of the wider region. Meanwhile, its proximity to Russia, China, the central Asian republics and the oil-rich Caspian region have given the country a significance out of all proportion to the seeming poverty of its people and apparent size of its economy.

Published in 1949 to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the execution of Charles I, this short pamphlet gives a wonderful overview of the real content and meaning of the earth-shaking event that was the English revolution.

The image shows the title page of the Levellers’ first proposed Agreement of the People, published in 1647. In the end, its demands were too extreme for the rising bourgeois class to tolerate and its leaders were suppressed. Nevertheless, the execution of King Charles I marked a turning point in history – the definite and unqualified emergence into full daylight of a revolution whose consequences are still by no means exhausted.

A highly recommended movie highlighting the monopoly ownership of our countryside by a small class of landowners, and the systematic exclusion of the majority from access to nature.

Our Land clearly exposes the huge inequalities of access to the countryside. It reminds us how important it is for all humans to spend time in nature, and how the inability to do so stunts the development of working-class children and impoverishes working-class life. The question that is only tangentially addressed in the film is that of the historical seizure and hereditary ownership of the land – a fundamental injustice that can only be addressed by the elimination of class society as a whole.

Britain must give back the gold it has stolen from Venezuela and cease all forms of economic warfare that will hamper efforts to rebuild and recover from this natural disaster.

British workers must resist our government’s repeated use of economic weapons against sovereign peoples. They are a form of vicious collective punishment whose purpose is to create maximum suffering and death in aid of western regime-change efforts.

The Iranian people have comprehensively demonstrated that US imperialism, for all its huge and unparalleled wealth, can no longer expect to have its own way in war.

There are those who imagine that because Iran has been victorious in forcing US imperialism to back down, it is therefore in a position to dictate terms for unconditional US surrender, just as the Soviet Union imposed on the defeated Nazis at the end of WW2. On this basis, they are denouncing Iranian government ‘treachery’ for having returned to the negotiating table! One moment’s thought, however, would reveal the absurdity of such a position.

Anti-genocide activists spoke for themselves in the hope of reaching a jury that had been denied access to the necessary evidence.

When our own government has not only failed to act to prevent genocide in Gaza, but has been shown to be actively participating in that heinous crime, the working class and its organisations must intervene to stop these atrocities from being perpetrated in our names. Moreover, we must recognise that until we learn to prevent the British ruling class from massacring and plundering abroad, we will have no hope of liberating ourselves from the increasingly heavy yoke of capitalist slavery at home.
