The Trump regime has painted itself – and the whole of US imperialism – into a hopeless corner by launching this war, from which it has no viable exit and no clear route to victory.

Beset by economic crisis and waning global hegemony, the imperialists plunged into this war in a desperate attempt to restore their fortunes. As ever, however, they are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. Not to try to fight Iran (and every other sovereign and resistant nation) would be to accept the inevitable fall of Anglo-American imperialism’s dominance. Yet fighting the war is more likely to end up accelerating the process of decay it was supposed to reverse.

Ranjeet Brar returns to the US embassy, Nine Elms, just a week after his bail conditions were lifted, to speak for the Antifascist International.

Ranjeet points out that the genocide in palestine has as its aim to wipe out the humanity and nationhood of Palestine. And our civil liberties and right to free speech have been subírsenos attacked and destroyed in Britain. And it is a Labour Party divergent above am that has pushed the agenda of fascist control.

Ranjeet’s Bail conditions - not to come within 500yds of the US embassy! - were imposed after his last speech delivered on 4th April 2026. That was an anti-war and anti genocide speech that called out the deliberate targeting and massacre of the 168 school children in Minab by Us, Britain and Israel, and above all the Labour Party’s complicity in genocide, and the controlled nature of the workers opposition in Britain.

It was a speech that proved very popular with the movement and British workers and incensed the British establishment and their zionist stooges, who again attempted to use it to have Ranjeet’s right to work as a surgeon in the NHS wothdrawn in the totally false grounds of “inciting racial hatred” and “antisemitism”.

With the interests of rulers and the ruled-over diverging ever more sharply, the means used to divide our ranks are becoming ever more poisonous.

Britain’s national flag represents a history of empire, colonialism and the oppression and exploitation of workers at home and abroad, yet it is used to foster a false sense of shared history and shared interests. Native-born British workers are asked to identify with their ‘own’ ruling class – to celebrate its crimes while vilifying those of their fellow workers who were born elsewhere. In reality, there are two nations in Britain: that of the British exploiters on the one side and that of the British exploited on the other. All workers, no matter where they were born, are today groaning under the burdens of inflation, unemployment, poverty, housing crisis, healthcare crisis and war drive that are the result of continued rule by the British imperialist financiers. And it is they whose interests the Union Jack really represents.

Amber from Thanet for Palestine speaks at the US embassy Nine Elms in London on outs second anniversary. She points out that the most devastating weapon that the monopoly capitalists, that the imperialists use against the workers of Britain and the west, is apathy.

The deadening weight of apathy, disillusionment, and the feeling of resignation and powerlessness of a people who have never learned to rise - when resistance now more than ever is called for urgently.

The Palestine encampment has created a strong community that has been a thorn in the side of imperialism throughout the genocide. It has reminded us all of the guilt of US imperialism. It has used creativity, art, community, to build resistance and overcome the deafening weight of apathy that our oppressors use against us.

She lists the US imperialist crimes around the world and puts the Israeli genocide in Palestine in this context. From agent orange, to 1953 overthrow of Mossadeg in Iran, to Iraq in 1999 and 2003 and Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, and Lebanon, to the kidnapping of Maduro and drowning the resistance of the world’s people in blood.

US and Britain are responsible for the genocide. Israel is not a nation with whom a peace deal can be negotiated. No genocidal state can seriously engage in peace negotiations. It must be dismantled in its entirety. Israel is not a nation - it is a settler colonial project past its historical sell-by date.
