The US embassy - this bomb-proof structure erected in nine Elms, London - is trespassing upon our nation. It is a centre of international terrorism and has no place here. Of course, it finds its complement in the criminal Imperialist government of Britain. The Bank of England holds 2bn worth of venezuelan gold, confiscated to destabilise the government and inflict pain on the people of Venezuela.

The US intervention today, like the preceding bombing of small boats and seizure of oil tankers over the last weeks, is international piracy and terrorism, without even a semblance or pretence at legality or any finer motive. The best trump can maintain is that Venezuela is a narco state. When US is in reality the chief natco state. There is no significant drug cultivation or cartel on Venezuelan soil - up to the point of US invasion.

This is a war for despoliation, plunder and robbery. It is a war for oil, for lithium, for gold, for the “right” to exploit the venezuelan working class. It is a war of colonial conquest and plunder. It is a gross violation of international law. The US, together with Britain is the chief instrument of terrorism in the world today.

We demand an end to the war on Venezuela. We demand the removal of this US embassy - a US military and CIA encampment in the heart of london - from British Soil. We demand the closure and withdrawal of all US bases from the british isles and territories. We demand that Britain leaves NATO and abandons the policy of illegal intervention across the world. We demand the release and restoration of Venezuela’s democratically elected president, comrade Nicholas Maduro.

We stand with the Venezuelan people. We stand with the PSUV and the mass resistance of the people of Venezuela. This is not the end of the story - just the beginning of another bloody chapter of us imperial intervention.

This week I spoke with Garland Nixon about the ever deepening machinery of state repression that is developing across the western world, to be used against those who threaten imperialist interests, whether relating to the zionist colony in the middle east or the Ukrainian colony in eastern Europe.

In particular we talked about:

the hunger strikes of anti-genocide prisoners in Britain (Free the Filton 24!)

the abolition of jury trials in Britain

the depersoning/sanctioning of dissidents across Britain and Europe (Jaques Baud, Graham Philips)

the involvement of the secret services in creating supposedly ‘disruptive’ organisations to channel protest in harmless directions and to try to ensure that no genuinely disruptive anti-imperialist movement should arise

the use of such organisations’ activities (Extinction Rebellion, Just Stop Oil, Defend Our Juries) to justify new laws, more policing powers and ever more suppression of free speech, freedom of protest and assembly and the right to dissent in any way at all from OFFICIAL (as opposed to actual) ‘truth’.

Legitimate concerns have been raised regarding the dubious leadership, tactics and legal strategy of the ‘civil liberties’ organisation.

It is notable that the established trade union and Palestine solidarity leadership, the police and ‘Defend Our Juries’ seem to have been performing a careful ballet, the end result of which is not the preservation of jury trials but their abolition; not the building of a mass movement to stop the genocide but its emasculation. Along the way, the population has been encouraged to choose between giving unconditional support to provocateurs whose only aim seems to be getting good people arrested, or else giving unconditional support to every tyrannical repressive measure and police action.

Social Rights Ireland on the Palestine solidarity encampment and the crisis of imperialist analysis in Ireland.

The lack of engagement by Ireland’s official ‘left’ with the encampment at UCD illuminates a fundamental crisis: the abandonment of a revolutionary understanding of imperialism. The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance is an organisation whose chief aim is to disseminate its 'working definition' of Antisemitism among the nations and institutions of the world. It was first adopted by Theresa May on behalf of the British Conservative (Tory) party in December 2016, but also on behalf of the British Nation. There has been no consultation about this. Nicola Sturgeon led the SNP and Scotland to accept it. Jeremy Corbyn led the Labour Party to adopt it while leader. After him Plaid Cymru, the Greens, the Liberals and every mainstream party of British imperialism has accepted and adopted it.

THE definition has been pushed onto schools, universities, the police forces of the UK and now has been forced onto the NHS and all of its institutions in November 2025 by none other than the arch-ZIonist Wes Streeting, currently Labour Party's Health Secretary.

It is a dangerous definition because it seeks to brand all criticism of Israel as 'racism' (antisemitism). By doing so it will outlaw all real criticism of Israel's genocide, all support for the freedom struggle of the oppressed in Palestine and by extension elsewhere. It is a means of Political policing and political repression - with very real economic consequences for those accused - by employers, the Labour Party apparatchiks and zionist activists - of "antisemitic" support for Palestine and criticism of Israel.

Dr Ranjeet Brar - himself the serial victim of this legislation, definition and action - explains point by point, what is wrong with the IHRA definition, and why a rigorous campaign against it is needed throughout British society, including but not limited to the NHS, to defend basic political liberty and freedom of speech for the whole of the British working class.
