Yesterday the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg testified before congress about the failure to protect user data on the site in the wake of the scandal involving Cambridge Analytica.  Ryan breaks down the testimony and discusses what all this means for you.  After that, Ryan speaks with CNET News Executive Editor Roger Cheng, about whether you are ready to give up Facebook.  Ryan then wraps the hour with more of Mark Zuckerberg’s’ testimony.

Over the weekend, in Canada, a bus carrying a hockey team crashed leaving 15 of their players deceased. In a tribute in St. Louis to the lost players and coaches of that horrific crash, folks are leaving their hockey sticks sitting outside.  Next, Ryan discusses recent comments made by Mark McGuire saying “he could have hit 70 homeruns without the use of performance enhancing drugs.”  Ryan calls this bunk and says there is a reason they are called performance enhancing.  After that, Ryan brings us a story from Shelbyville, Illinois about teenagers who volunteered their time to clean up a cemetery.  Do you live in St. Charles County?  If so, you might have had someone knocking on your door recently.  Ryan shares that those knocks are coming from people who are going door-to-door to get enough signatures to put a smoking ban on the ballot in November.  

Host Ryan Wrecker opens the hour with a story about Police use of force.  A sheriff is responding to controversial comments made in an old video that has been published by political opposition.  A family fought off an intruder with a hammer.  Ryan breaks down what he might do if he is faced with a similar situation.  Next, Ryan revisits the testimony from Mark Zuckerberg in front of a congressional committee.  Rounding out the hour, Ryan revisits his conversation with Roger Cheng from CNET about whether you will delete your Facebook account.

This morning Ryan starts “Something Good” with a story about neutralizing the gene that causes Alzheimer’s for the first time ever.  Ryan shares how much of a breakthrough this is.  Next, Ryan shares the story of a person who found an old bottle that contained a 35-year-old message.  Ryan wants to know how much TV do you watch in a day?  According to a recent survey, the average person in North America watches 4 hours of TV a day.  When is something too gross for you to be involved in?  As a parent, Ryan has learned to get past these things until a new story that says bathroom hand dryers redistribute poo particles was published. 

Governor Greitens and the ongoing case about his former lover are in the forefront of everyone’s minds this week as we are expecting the Missouri House Committee to release their report on the accusation.  Host Ryan Wrecker breaks down what this could mean and why there is too much contradicting evidence in the case.  After that, Ryan sits down with KMOX’s Route 66 host Johnny Rabbit to talk about his latest upcoming presentation at the Missouri History Museum.  This presentation is about “The Famous and Infamous of St. Louis”.  Next, Ryan shares an update on the ongoing feud between Jimmy Kimmel and Sean Hannity.
