Representative Warren Love of Osceola was brought up to the Missouri House Ethics Committee, but escaped punishment for a 2017 Facebook post that said Confederate monument vandals should be “hung from a tall tree.” Guest host Gary Nolan explains why he agrees with the lack of punishment, and doesn’t even think it should have gone to committee. Each morning we strive to bring you some of the best positive stories.  Host Ryan Wrecker shares a story of a Minneapolis area woman celebrating her 100th Birthday.  The Minnesota Vikings heard how much of a fan she is and sent her tickets to the upcoming NFC Championship game.  After that we visit the Great White North, Canada, where we learn the long lasting bitter cold is actually helping with a problem up there.  It’s killing off rats!  We switch gears a little bit with our next story.  Earlier in the show Rev. Larry Rice sat in studio with Ryan where he took many calls from listeners who were excited about some of the good work he has done.  Next, we talk about why Homeowners Associations are not good things.  One HOA is requiring homeowners to keep their garage door open or face a $200 fine.  Another HOA took a man’s home away while he was headed to Iraq for Military service.  Finally, Google has added a fact check service on its search engine that seems to target conservative sites instead of more liberal ones. 

Host Ryan Wrecker got new eyeglasses and is showing them off.  He shares that some people online told him he could have gotten them cheaper, but Ryan is skeptical.  After that we talk about Saint Louis Police Chief’s beginning plan to address some of the more violent crime in our area. 

Ryan moves on to sharing some of the day’s biggest headlines.  He starts with Steve Bannon stepping down from Breitbart.  The world looks on as North and South Korea resume diplomatic talk allowing athletes to attend the Winter Olympics in South Korea.  Some caution that while tension is high, we should not back down on sanctions against the country over its nuclear program. 

Up Next, we revisit our interview with Ian Sherr, Executive Editor for CNET.  Ian is in Las Vegas at CES 2018 where the electronics industry shows off the latest technology and gadgets you could see in stores soon.  Ryan recaps some of the things that CES has brought to us in the past. 

A&E Networks has a new show called “Undercover High” where they send adults age 21-26 back to high school as students age 17-18 years old.  Ryan thinks this is pretty unbelievable.
