Dr.Ken Harris shares some of the top news from Milwaukee. One story in particular that stands out is about young teen love and a breakup story that ends in assault and gun violence. But how? How does a broken heart cause you to take matters so far into your hands that you convince others to assault and eventually shoot your former partner. Why is our youth having so much trouble keeping their emotions in check? MPD Detective Ed Fitting said “80% of the shootings in recent weeks have been cause by domestic violence or lovers quarrels.” Must be then that the saying is true, love hurts.

Dr.Ken Harris says Milwaukee is officially the Wild West. Shooting after shooting occurring in the city had him officially changing the name from Midwest to Wild West. How is it that someone can be shot at simply for walking and for no rhyme or reason? What’s happening to this city? How can you still say you love and feel safe in Milwaukee under these conditions? If the city continues on the path it’s going down, Dr.Ken Harris might seriously consider leaving the city and living somewhere else. But where should he move to? Where would you move to? Some say Dr.Ken Harris needs to come to Cedarburg, or Mequon maybe just a different county all together. Sheboygan doesn’t seems to be a good fit, what about Walworth or possibly Ozaukee county? Dr.Ken Harris doesn’t know where he’d move if he actually decided to, but he knows it for sure wouldn’t be Cedarburg So, where to next?

Dr.Ken Harris says that baby boomers have creating most of what we have adapted in modern day and still use to this day. Yet millennials seems to blame boomers for raising bad kids and or causing the bad that we see in our community. But Dr.Ken Harris asks what have millennials invented? According to him they haven’t invented anything yet. Yet, that’s not to say there won’t be a world changing millennial invention.

What is happening in Milwaukee that has people seeming not to care. Dr.Ken a Harris says he understands if maybe you aren’t caring for your neighbor because you’re focused on yourself but it seems as thought a lot of people aren’t even taking care of themselves though. Is it going to take money, new leadership, new rules, what? How do you inspire people to care more for their community? Is this a fight worth fighting? Is Milwaukee worth the take-back? Dr.Ken Harris says it’s worth taking the city back but it will get worse before it gets better.

Change is coming and unless we look into it and prepare we won’t be ready for any of it. Dr.Ken Harris says 3 things will happen between now and 2023. First thing is that there will be funicular turmoil, recessions with major corporations. Secondly, there Will be an increase in randomized violence. Crimes of opportunity will rise exponentially. And lastly, there are layoffs that are coming which will affect the majority of the population. Dr. Ken Harris says there’s an impending crisis but everyone is silent due to the lack of leadership. What do you see as the future of Milwaukee?

After a recent poll gets Dr.Ken Harris’ attention he brings it to truth in the afternoon. The pool from Gallup says that the approval rate for interracial marriage is at an all time high. Though that sounds great it draws attention to other racial shortcomings. Though interracial marriage is now more “approved” racism and racial inequity are still prevalent. How does the approval for one go up when the other remains the same or worse? 94% of people approve of biracial unions but why don’t the same 94% of people support black people in other ways. It’s unfortunate how one things can dictate the way everyone looks at you as an individual or as a people.

What have you done or not done in the past year? That’s Dr.Ken Harris’ question for this Friday. In Dr.Ken Harris’ case he didn’t get everything done he wanted to this year. Atleast not until the last trimester of the year and the last 30 days. Now all 3 things he wanted to do get done are happening all at once. Dr.Harris days he also has had moments in his life where he’s been doing too much all at once and things don’t go well. Things slipped and his focus was taken away from the important things. No matter what we’re doing it boils down to what’s important.

Or maybe The Queen, now that Queen Elizabeth II has passed there’s many questions from it. She was the worlds longest standing monarch, so now what’s next? Dr.Ken Harris wonders if her passing is even relevant to us as a people? That family is so incredibly wealthy, the have true wealth, not just rich. Dr.Ken Harris asks if you think about riches or wealth? How do you decide between what’s what?
