Miss America 2024 & USAF 2nd Lt. Madison Marsh, Tonie Michaels talks to Kristin and Brian about being a female pilot and member of EAA. She talks about her introduction into the hobby turned career and how she is working to get more women involved.

UW Health Ophthalmologist, Dr. Yao Liu, joins Spanning the State to break down the latest at home care technology, Teleophthalmology. The new technology utilizes cameras, smartphones and other devices to help patients get their eyes checked without traveling long distances to see their doctors. Dr. Liu also shares more information about their upcoming event this weekend where they will be offering free eye camera demos.

EAA's Director of Communications Dick Knapinski joins Kristin Brey and Brian Noonan as they broadcast live from the EAA AirVenture event in Oshkosh. Knapinski talks about what's on the agenda for this weekend like the flying car and the veterans parade featuring Warbirds. He tells them about the history of the membership group and massive air event and addresses fatal events that happened earlier this week.

Kristin and Brian talk to Kathleen Bartzen Culver about the journalistic ethics behind President Biden's speech. They discuss whether he crossed FCC and broadcast laws with his address to the nation.
