If we slow down we might find we feel more content than when we do more. In this episode we explore how tuning into our inner worlds supports our outer expression. It is often counters creativity, feeling enough, and is at the expense of our wellbeing to push for more. Knowing when to push and when to pause is the goal. We'll end the episode with three books that I read recently to support being counter-culture.

Despite feeling like completely new people at different junctions of our lives, our past creations continue to inform our output in the present. Embracing the continued evolution of us as creatives can also mean pulling from past experiences. Knowing that our past titles, relationships, and loves can be carried into who we define ourselves as today. We are infinitely expansive and this episode is a self-compassion train of thought on this subject.

We are always acting. Understanding the roles we play, the programmed roles we've been conditioned into perform for likeability, validation, profit, and so on is helpful. In no longer acting we get closer to understanding our true selves, we regain energy from authenticity, and we learn how to create from that truth. Also happy to share that I'm opening myself to taking on clients this month for creative coaching and marketing consulting. For those who want to uplevel their personal brands, creatively unblock, and share themselves authentically within their industry. Where are you? We can so easily become disconnected to where we are physically from our bodies and from how we're feeling. There's value in taking in as much life as possible as a creative, it informs our art, but our sensitive bodies need grounding and attention too. We'll explore this topic and end with a sensory exercise for tuning into the here and now.
