In this episode, we begin a new series, "Why is THAT in the Bible." We start with a passage from 2 Kings where some young boys taunt the prophet Elisha, calling him, "bald head." The result is Elisha calling for two female bears to tear up 42 of the young boys!

Did Elisha have a serious anger management problem? Was he oversensitive about his baldness? Was he full of himself and his new found prophetic power and just trying to flex his muscles? Were these young boys just teasing as children sometimes do? Or is there something much deeper and more sinister at work here? For answers, join us as we delve into, "Baldy and the Bears!"

Join us for the semi-finale of our series, Real Truth about False Teaching, as we look at some of the lies many Christians believe and live by. Truth Matters! What we believe affects everything in our faith, our view of God, our life!

Paul gives us the reason of why we need to make sure that what we believe is God’s Truth, and that we expose the lies that are being taught to our brothers and sisters. In Gal. 1: 6 - 9 he says, “I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—  not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.  But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.”

In this episode, we delve into one of the oldest and most mysterious fraternal organizations - The Freemasons. Since its inception, Freemasonry has been clouded in speculation. It’s been said that the organization is associated with the Illuminati, the Knights Templar, satanism, cult practices, and even extraterrestrials.  Their members are sworn to secrecy from telling outsiders anything about what goes on in the Masonic Lodges.  Legend has it that in 1826, when a man named William Morgan threatened to publicly expose the Freemason’s secrets, he was arrested on a petty crime and never seen again.

So, what is Freemasonry? There’s a lot of misconceptions about it floating around … but if you are willing to dig a little, there is also a lot of truth! Are the Freemasons a cult? Should Christians be a part of this secretive organization?

In this episode, we delve into two religions who call themselves Christian - Jehovah's Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventists. What is the origin and history of these religions? What are their beliefs on God the Father, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, salvation, hell, heaven, and the Bible? What do they believe about accepted Christian doctrine? Most importantly, are either of these or both of these legitimate Christian denominations, or a cult?

The very sad state of the evangelic world is that it is getting harder and harder to find a solid, Biblical church – and as more and more churches go woke or go legalistic, steeping themselves in false teachings, the prospects will get dimmer and dimmer. But this is not something new. Almost since its inception, man’s sin has crept into the church and perverted God’s Word. We were warned over and over in the New Testament about wolves in sheep’s clothing that will infiltrate and corrupt the church.

One way those wolves worm their way into the church is through the lie of religion.
How has the original biblical definition of religion been corrupted? What is the danger of religion and why will religion never be able to save you? Join us as we delve into the history and current state of the Lie of Religion!

We had such a huge response to our "Hijacked Scripture" episode, we decided to do Round 2! But in this episode, we look specifically at verses of the Bible that have been ripped out and twisted by the Word of Faith movement. These charlatans have perverted the Word of God and hijacked Scripture in order to make their false teachings seem credible. Join us as we apply context and Scriptural consistency to these verses. See how the likes of Joseph Prince, Tony Evans, and others are lying to you and mocking God.

In this episode, we tackle the quickly growing trend of the "Hebrew Roots Movement," also known by the names: Hebrew Roots, Hebrew Christians, Sacred Name Movement, Hebrew Israelites, Torah Observant, Messianic Vision, Hebrew Torah Movement, and others.

People who follow this teaching follow the Old Testament laws, festivals, and traditions. There are varying beliefs and practices within the movement because there is no overarching guiding principles or doctrine. But one thing all of them agree on is the belief that in order to keep your salvation (and in some cases, obtain it) you need to keep Mosaic Law. Jesus did not come to fulfill the Old Testament Law, He came to renew all 613 laws of the Torah and we must keep them all in order to be a real Christian. But what does Scripture say? What does Jesus say? Join us as we delve in!

We’ve all been there. We’ve been scrolling through facebook, Instagram, twitter, whatever, and we see a meme or a post someone has shared that is meant to impart some deep spiritual meaning to our lives. Maybe it tells God will do a miracle for us if we just believe or that God loves and accepts everyone, so stop judging people, or maybe it tells you to go out and take on the world, because God’s got your back.

We will be the first to say social media is a great way to reach a lot of people. We do memes and posts almost every day. The problem is not all of the Facebook theology is good theology, and not all of those reading are discerning enough to know the difference.

Join us as we look at some of the most popular recent social media "theological" posts we have seen and put them up against Scripture.
