In this episode, we tackle two teachings you may not not have heard of, but we guarantee you have heard of some of the "Christian" teachers who practice them: Automatic Writing and Spiritual Messaging. Both have similar origins. With people like Beth Moore and Sarah Young (of Jesus Calling), who have millions of followers, participating in these practices, it's important to delve deeply into them. Where did these practices come from and how have they been used in the past? What has been the church's traditional view on them? Is it possible that the Holy Spirit, Jesus, or an angel is giving people like Beth Moore and Sarah Young direct, new revelation like they claim?  Is automatic writing and spiritual messaging ever Biblical? Join us and find out!

We continue with our discussion on "Christian Nationalism." In this episode we look at Dominion theology, Christian Reconstructionism or Kingdom Now theology. And hand in hand with that is something called The Seven Mountain Mandate. These are supposed Christian narratives that involve changing the laws of all the nations to God’s laws in the Old Testament and enforcing that law on all people to prepare the world for Christ’s arrival.

What exactly is this theology? Who is practicing it? Why is it on the rise? And most important, is it Biblical?

Christian Nationalism. We have been hearing it everywhere! From churches who call Christians to it to the radical left who claim the United States' biggest threat is from Christian Nationalists. So is Christian Nationalism a biblical concept that we, as believers, should stand up for and fight for? Is Christian Nationalism a threat to the United States or any country where it is being practiced? Or is it something else? Join us as take two episodes delving deeply into Christian Nationalism - its roots, its history, its uses, and most importantly, how it stacks up against Scripture.

The abortion fight is raging! There are so many half-truths, cover-ups, and blatant lies out there about abortion. We were honored to have a chance to talk to Kelly Lester from Prolove.com and get the facts. Kelly is an expert on abortion because she has been on all sides. She has had abortions herself, she has worked in abortion clinics discharging women after their abortions, and now is a fully dedicated ProLife advocate working for ProLove (a ministry started by Abby Johnson of "Unplanned" fame). Some of what Kelly does for ProLove is heading up their sidewalk ministries, being on call for women who choose life for their child, but need assistance, and testifying in court as the ProLife movement fights against abortion in back door avenues, including arguing that women are not given "informed consent" in abortion clinics. This interview will change you! Much of what we discuss is not easy to hear, but as Kelly says, "We, as ProLifers, need to arm ourselves with the truth." That is how we will fight back against this evil that has become a god for so many.

Join us as we sit down with Erin Coates! She walks us through the last two years when the Canadian government tried to close their church, Grace Life, down in the name of "covid safety." The church, Erin, and her husband and Grace Life's preaching pastor, James Coates, stayed faithful to God's Word refusing to close, even when James was imprisoned for it. Erin gives us a first-hand look at not only the difficulties and darkness of that time, but also the faithfulness of God, and the opportunities to spread the Gospel - opportunities that continue today. We also got a chance to pick Erin's brain on women's ministry, the need for Biblical Truth, and the state of the evangelical church today.

We've all seen the memes, bumper stickers, prints, tattoos, and other things that sport a verse of Scripture. However, too often, the verses are ripped away from their original passages,  taken out of context, and misused. They become man-centered instead of God-centered. They glorify man instead of God. They cheapen  God from Almighty Sovereign to a personal Santa Claus!  Join us as we put these hijacked verses back into context and back to their original meaning. When we do, we find that the real meaning is much deeper and richer than any of the shallow meanings they are given.

We will also look at verses that can be taken out as a one-liner without losing its meaning. What's the difference? Join us and find out!

It use to be that Mormons claimed their religion to be unique and not Christian. They even performed a play where a Protestant minister was used by Satan to deceive Adam. But things have changed over the years. The play is no longer performed, and now Mormons, or Latter-day Saints as they are more commonly known, claim to be Christian! Not much is known about mormonism by those on the outside. But in this episode, we tell you about how they came into existence, their beliefs, the rituals required to become Mormon, what goes on during these rituals, their missions, what they think about Jesus, about God the Father, about the Holy Spirit, about salvation, and about heaven.  Join us as we learn everything about Mormonism and answer the ultimate question - Are the Latter-day Saints Christian or a Cult?

This is the third round of our “Real Truth” series. And the purpose of all of them is to look at current and hot topics and teachings and apply Biblical Truth to them. And that is really easy when you are talking about eastern meditation or those who call themselves Christian witches. But what about when those who call themselves Biblical Christians are teaching lies and are being followed by many who would also call themselves Biblical Christians?

That’s exactly what we are going to spend the next several weeks finding out. And we are going to look at some very specific false teachings and teachers, but in this episode, we give an overview and answer some important questions.like:  Who are we to “judge” others who profess to be Christians? What’s the difference between bad theology and false teaching? What makes what we say truth and what they say lies? Since there is only one Bible, why are there so many different teachings on it? Does it grieve Jesus that His people spend time opposing each other? Isn’t the most important thing to love Jesus and love others? Do the other details matter in the long run?

As Christians, we are guaranteed to be drawn into spiritual warfare. God has given us His armor to do just that! But how are we to engage with Satan and his demons? What power do we have against them? Are we to firmly denounce them and tell them to leave us alone? Are we to rebuke them with Scripture? Are we to pray the blood of Jesus against them and their schemes? Are we to pray a hedge of thorns around ourselves, our loved ones, and houses for protection? Or are we stand firm in God's Word and resist the devil by refraining from being tempted and sinning?

Join us as we finish up the book of Ephesians and delve into what the Armor of God is and how it is to be properly used by believers.

As Christians, we live our daily lives in enemy territory while we’re here on earth. At every turn, it seems that living as a Christian gets harder and harder. We need to know our enemy and be prepared! One of the things most under attack is the family. In the last two episodes we pointed out that God directly addressed Christian wives and after that directly addressed Christian husbands. As we move into Ephesians chapter 6, we’re going to see that God also has a message directed to Christian children, Christian parents, Christian employees, and Christian bosses. If any of these describe you, you won't want to miss this episode!
