We've come to the end of our series, Be Transformed. We have covered a lot over the past 10 weeks, including a lot of sin. Maybe you had something horrible done to you that you can’t move on from. Maybe you did something horrible to someone else and the guilt is eating you up. Maybe you have been immersed in sin and are ashamed to tell anyone. Maybe you’ve had an affair or an abortion and are suffering from deep regret and depression. Maybe things you have done in your past are so bad that you don’t think you deserve God’s mercy or grace. Maybe you’re divorced or have a child who is on a really bad tract and you feel like a failure. Maybe you’re addicted to drugs, alcohol, pornography, or something else and you feel defeated. If any of these apply to you, then this episode is for you.

We continue on with our series within a series. In this episode, we continue to look at evil that is not only happening in the world, but being applauded and revered; and how true good is more and more being denounced and marginalized as evil, bigoted, and hateful. Now is not the time for the timid or faint of heart. Now is the time for Christians to contend, stand firm in Biblical Truth, and glorify God by speaking light into an ever darkening world!

Everything we have looked at in the past 7 episodes of our series, Be Transformed, are connected. In this episode, our transformation takes a slightly different turn, but it's no less connected. In this episode, we look at being transformed to call out evil as evil. The world is changing rapidly. So many things that are evil are being touted as good, while true good is being denounced as evil. And this is true even in some of our churches! Christians need to have the courage and wisdom to call evil out, stand firm in Biblical Truth, while continuing to glorify God. It seems an impossible task, but Jesus tells us it is possible, but we need to be prepared. Join us for this episode and the next episode as we look at how we prepare ourselves to stand firm against evil and shine the light of the Gospel into an ever darkening world.
Memory Verse - Isaiah 5:20 - “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who call dark light and light dark, who call bitter sweet and sweet bitter.”

The Fruit of the Spirit is not a watermelon. Nor is it several attributes we may or may not receive from the Holy Spirit after we are saved. The Fruit of the Spirit is singular - it is 9 attributes that all make up one fruit. We receive this fruit when we are saved and growth in them is a by-product of our salvation and part of our transformation.
Join us as we delve into the Fruit of the Spirit - Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. How do we bear the Fruit of the Spirit? How do we grow them? How are we transformed by them?

There are so many reasons people give for not being a part of a local church - I can get better preaching from a podcast. I can worship on my own. I can study the Bible on my own. I have Christian friends that are my “church.” I have to work on Sundays. I have family obligations on the weekends. I feel like church is boring. I don’t feel like there’s a place for my child or teen. I don’t know where there’s a good church near me. I’m not sure I have the same beliefs I used to. I don’t agree with my church’s stance on sexuality. I’ve had my feelings hurt by church members. The people at my old church are hypocrites. I don’t feel like there’s a place for me to serve.
Does the Bible say say anything about being a part of a church, about becoming a member of a church, about worship, about what to look for in a church, when to leave a church? Or is much of this subjective. Tune it to this week's episode for answers to these questions and more, and how the church fits into us being transformed!

God’s greatness is that He is the Almighty, Sovereign Creator, Master, and Sustainer of the entire universe. In comparison to God’s greatness, we are small and insignificant – a fact that we need to grasp to have a proper view of God and give Him His due glory. However, along with being great, God is also good. His goodness is manifested in His care, concern, protection, grace, and mercy towards His children. When you really think about it, it is mind blowing that considering God’s greatness, He is personally involved in every minute of His children’s lives, and He is good to us all. So, while we may be insignificant in comparison to God, we aren’t worthless. Not in God’s eyes anyway. And that is a Truth that when really understood brings about transformation.
Join us in this episode as we delve into the goodness of God by looking deeply into Psalm 23. May the amazing truths contained in David's words truly transform us!

This time of year many Christians make New Year’s resolutions that often include spiritual disciplines like reading our Bibles every day, praying more, or sinning less. And perhaps, the biggest resolutions many Christians make is that they want have more faith.
And regardless of having the best intentions most of us at some point have ended up dropping the ball on those resolutions sometimes when we’re not even too far into the new year. When it comes to having the desire to read our Bible more, pray more, sin less, and especially, have more faith, we can't approach it as a check list of things we need to do. Its all about what we do. It's not about us "upping" our game.
RC Sproul said everything begins and ends with our view of God. So the way we do pray more, sin less, increase our faith, isn’t by striving in our strength, but by upping the object of those things. We need to elevate our view of God. We need to see Him as He truly is.
