Noah Eagle has rapidly ascended to a position as one of America's best play-by-play broadcasters. Eagle, 28, has broadcasted from the Olympics, called a Super Bowl for Nickelodeon, served as the play-by-play voice of the Los Angeles Clippers and Brooklyn Nets and calls Big Ten Football for NBC Sports.
Eagle, a 2019 graduate of Syracuse University is about to step into one of the biggest gigs of his career as a primary play-by-play voice for the NBA on NBC.
Eagle and Brent Axe discussed the task of mixing nostalgia (we all remember that NBC 'Roundball Rock' theme song!) with the current bells and whistles available in modern broadcasting.
Axe and Eagle also discuss what role Carmelo Anthony will play on NBC's NBA coverage, the lessons he took from Mike Tirico that he'll now get to employ along with Tirico on NBC, if calling Big 10 college football still feels like college sports in the NIL/transfer portal era and some 2025-26 NBA storylines.
