  • Podcast Episode: Trust The Process of Healing
In today's episode we are blessed with a story of courage, loss, rebirth and healing. We are joined by Sreynoch, from Untangle: A Mental Health Project, who opens up to us about a dark part of her past.

She opens up about losing purpose in her life where she felt lost and did not know who she was. So many teenagers are struggling to realize who they are and sadly never realize their worth and and a few end up giving up on life and taking their own lives.

Noch shares her story how she pulled herself back out of that dark place through self-care, self-love and surrounding herself with good friends, building a support system and reaching out for help.

That is why Noch decided to join Untangle, to raise awareness on mental health and mental health issues, letting the world know that mental illness is real and that you are not alone.

Sometimes things can seem overwhelming, and it can feel like you can’t cope. You may simply just be having a bad day, or you may have an ongoing mental health problem that needs support. The important thing is not to try to cope on your own.

When you’re struggling, it’s not good to spend too much time alone, especially if you are feeling low and vulnerable. It’s at times like these that you need to be able to talk to someone. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.

  • Podcast Episode: All About Happiness
Although adults often say things like, “He was so young when that happened; he won’t even remember it as an adult,” childhood trauma can have a lifelong effect. And while kids are resilient, they’re not made of stone.

There are many different experiences that can constitute trauma. Childhood trauma is an event experienced by a child that threatens their life or bodily integrity.
Ongoing stress, such as living in a dangerous neighborhood or being the victim of bullying, can be traumatic, even if it just feels like daily life to an adult.

We are joined by the incredible Teacher Michael-Patrick Strahan. Teacher Michael is an impactful social media influencer and a resourceful ACE Academic Coordinator.
In this upcoming episode, Teacher Michael opens up about his childhood.

We applaud Teacher Michael for his ability to be vulnerable and share his story with us.

Teacher Michael did not have the best childhood, but he overcame difficult moments in his life while growing up and turned his pain into his power.

Through self-love, Teacher Michael was able to alchemize happiness in his own life, grow as an individual and achieve many goals he set.

  • Podcast Episode: Conquering Your Self-Sabotaging Behavior
Behavior is said to be self-sabotaging when it creates problems in daily life and interferes with long-standing goals. The most common self-sabotaging behaviors include the avoider, the controller, the hyper achiever just to name a few.

Occasional self-sabotage is pretty common, like saying something to your boss or your partner that was probably better left unsaid. But when self-sabotage becomes a pattern, it can interfere not only with your ability to perform at your best, but also in your ability to live a happy, fulfilling, and productive life.

We welcome Joey RA. Joey is a Transformation Coach and Founder of Cambodia Coaching Institute. We discussed self-sabotaging in our lives. We dig deeper into how it works and the reason behind it.

Understanding why this is happening and what goes on in your mind while it is happening. We dive deep into the pre and post effect of self-sabotaging then end the episode with tips and advice on how we can overcome our self-sabotaging behavior, freeing ourselves from doubt and gaining that self-confidence.

  • Podcast Episode: Studying Psychiatry and Providing E-counselling in Cambodia
    What is Psychiatry?

Psychiatry is the branch of medicine focused on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental, emotional and behavioral disorders.

A psychiatrist is a medical doctor (an M.D. or D.O.) who specializes in mental health, including substance use disorders. Psychiatrists are qualified to assess both the mental and physical aspects of psychological problems.

People seek psychiatric help for many reasons. The problems can be sudden, such as a panic attack, frightening hallucinations, thoughts of suicide, or hearing "voices." Or they may be more long-term, such as feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or anxiousness that never seem to lift or problems functioning, causing everyday life to feel distorted or out of control.

On our next episode we are joined by Ngin Ratanakromanea. Ngin is a resident psychiatrist at University of Health and Sciences and Founder of AromStation.
We discuss his work and why he chose to study psychiatry. He will help us understand why he believes mental health is so important, especially in Cambodia.

Ngin's journey in studying psychiatry is a taboo field in Cambodia. So he is here helping to break the stigma so you can understand the importance of this field in Cambodia.

Ngin and his team created a E-Counselling platform in Khmer on Facebook named AromStation.

  • Podcast Episode: Taking All of Me In
Self-acceptance is self-love, but somedays it is a hard thing to do when you’re caught up in the endless barrage of self-talk.

Learning self-acceptance takes work. You must set an intention and stick with it, celebrating your success and strengths when you can and shutting up the inner critic (thus forgiving yourself) when you can’t.

Acceptance is not resignation, but rather a letting go of the things we can’t realistically control. Self-acceptance allows us to speak to a higher self and empower ourselves to do greater things simply by getting out of our own way.

Compassion is a natural state but like all natural things will die if it doesn’t receive the care it needs.

We welcome on our show Renee Lee. She is such an incredibly powerful woman who continuously shows us the power of self acceptance and self love.
We had a conversation about what does it mean to "taking all of me in" and the process of healing through self-love.

Looking at ourselves in the mirror and building the confidence of loving every part of you and checking in on yourself constantly on how you feel, what you feel and why do you feel it.

The more you understand about yourself, the more you love yourself the more happy you are.
