    Kevin Currie is a Teaching Professor in East Carolina University's Department of Educational Leadership and Foundations. His work focuses on the philosophy and history of education and libertarian forms of education. His book Education in the Marketplace is an intellectual history of pro-market arguments for school choice. His newest book, Education Without the State, is an edited collection of articles and chapters by renowned anarchists on the topic of education and children's rights.

    Vicky Osterweil is a Philadelphia-based writer, agitator, and worker whose first book, In Defense of Looting, described historical struggles for liberation in the US. She is a member of the anarchist journal CAW and has written about the intersections of film, politics, and culture for publications such as The Paris Review, Art in America, Al Jazeera America, The Baffler, Dissent, Lux Magazine, and The New Inquiry, where she was also a culture editor for many years. Her new book is "The Extended Universe: How Disney Killed the Movies and Took Over the World"

    Mikayla Novak is a Senior Fellow in the F. A. Hayek Program for Advanced Study in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. She has an economics doctorate awarded by RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, and a sociology PhD from The Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. Prior to academia in the U.S., Mikayla worked in the Australian public service as well as in think-tanks. Mikayla Novak is the author of several books, including the upcoming Routledge publication, Rainbow Liberty, and has authored over 30 peer-review journal articles. Her research interests include Austrian and evolutionary economics, institutional economics, public choice, and social philosophy and theory.

    Political theorist Martin Jacobson joins NSP to discuss reconciling anarchism and geoism. We talk about land value, non-statist redistribution methods, markets, effective altruism, animal ethics, and more.
    Martin Jacobson is a political theorist from Uppsala, Sweden, working in the intersection of politics, philosophy, and economics. His 2024 Ph.D. thesis, on the relationship between geoism and anarchism, was awarded the Swedish Political Science Association’s Prize for best Ph.D. thesis 2022-24. Martin was previously a Research Fellow at the Norwegian Nobel Institute, and is currently a Visiting Fulbright Scholar at Virginia Tech. Aside from academic research, he is also involved with Georgist movement building and engaged in the Effective Altruism movement.

    Nathan Goodman is a Senior Research Fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, where he is a Senior Fellow at the F.A. Hayek Program for Advanced Study in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. He has worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at New York University, where he was affiliated with the Program on the Foundations of the Market Economy. He earned his PhD in economics from George Mason University. His research focuses on self-governance, civil liberties, and the militarization of U.S. border policies.
