“Make It Rain w/ Cloud Seeding”
@nonperishablegoods podcast episode #75
Conspiracy Theorists got one! I've been hearing them talk about weather modification programs for decades, and I have totally disregarded it. However, today I figuratively stand before you, and admit my ignorance and confirm, it's true. Public and private agencies are making it rain all over the world with a program called, Cloud Seeding. This episode, we explain what it is exactly, the consequences, and what we feel about it from a moral standpoint.

It's crazy that the viral moments in music right now are even so self destructive with all the rap beef being served. So, how do you counteract all of the lack of kindness, debauchery, violence and anger presented to us throughout the day? What are you pouring into yourself that's positive? You have to do it or it is detrimental to your well-being. In this episode we discuss how our faith is at the forefront of our day and daily decisions.

“Forgiveness”
@nonperishablegoods podcast episode #71
As believers we are called to forgive people just as God forgives us. In the Bible we are asked to forgive people 70x7 times. That’s 490 times. This scripture always made me ponder that clearly people are constantly offending, and we are to give people this many chances? Forgiveness isn’t weakness. It actually shows strength, agape love, compassion, maturity and even qualities of true leadership. We are all imperfect people, and we should posture as such with humility and be open to receive correction. At this point in my life, I understand forgiveness is key to peace and a healthy well being. Cutting people off, revenge, bitterness, resentment, anger and all harmful emotions will burden your spirit and keep you in a place of literal or mental isolation. We weren’t made to live this life alone. However, forgiveness doesn’t mean you allow people to hurt or play with you, but it requires boundaries to protect you and repentance (change of behavior) of others to hold space in your life.

"Representation and Support Matters"
@nonperishablegoods podcast episode #70
The recurring themes I've noticed in my plight to achieve my endeavors is the significance of seeing others accomplish their goals, and being planted in a supportive environment. If you come across a successful person they are more times than not fruitful in these two areas. In this episode, we discuss groundbreaking creatives like Vince Staples, Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino and Issa Rae that come directly from our culture; musically and ethnically-speaking that pivoted from music to the small and/or silver screen. The way rappers tell our stories, and seeing it on Netflix, Max and other networks is extremely inspiring.

"The Defiant Ones, Defy the Odds"
@nonperishablegoods podcast episode #69When Music is life and life is Music, you don't always acknowledge where they end and begin. Music culture is truly a lifestyle, and more specifically hip hop culture has shaped many of our ambitions, behaviors and desires. We've witnessed so many triumphant testimonies and sob stories that have given us the blueprint or showed us where we need to make adjustments to avoid troubled outcomes. This episode, we discuss the themes of work ethic, relationships and principles that are sprinkled throughout The Defiant Ones documentary. It's based on the peaks and valleys Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young aka Dr Dre experienced. Their we started from the bottom NOW WE HERE (with 3 billion dollars) story is one of our favorites.

“Former President, Future Convict?"
@nonperishablegoods podcast episode #66
Trump being impeached twice, and now indicted 4 TIMES has absolutely nothing to do with a witch hunt or election interference as he continues to project, but more to do with you reap what you sow. Former president Donald J. Trump is finally receiving judgement for all the corrupt seeds he's been planting throughout his life of poor decisions. Unfortunately, he doesn't have an accountability bone in his body, and is blaming everyone else for his behavior. He continues to gaslight his supporters as a classic narcissist does. Over the last few years, his administrative cabinet, colleagues and friends, SUPPORTERS have either gone to jail, been indicted, lost jobs, ruined their reputation, and it's all finally catching up to him. He brought this all onto himself. What's done in the dark will always come to the light, and opinions will NEVER BE FACTS!
