  • "Your Life, Is Their Entertainment"

    "Your Life, Is Their Entertainment"

    @nonperishablegoods podcast episode #26

Whatever you are posting online is being judged. From your friends and family to coworkers to potential employers. Your "Twitter Fingers" from 10 years ago could resurface at not so favorable times to haunt you, or someone can be so obsessed with you, they are always ready to screenshot or video capture your #postanddelete to share in their group chat or on their blog. Just keep in mind what you share online is possibly forever.

This episode we discuss cancel culture and its latest victim Joe Rogan and former, current and future candidate Ye West with his very public divorce and custody battle with Kim Kardashian. We also touch on freedom of speech, the degree of sincerity in public apologies, emotional intelligence and why sharing online can be conducive to healing.

  • "Have No Fear, The Robots Are Here" NON-PERISHABLE GOODS Podcast Ep. 25

The Pandemic has ushered in a SHIFT in our society from our thinking, our way of life to THE ECONOMY. You may have heard terms like "The Great Resignation", inflation, the Fed rate increase, supply chain and may have even seen the empty shelves in stores, or have felt the price increases in your pockets.

This episode we explain what the above all means for us, but if you don't listen to this podcast clip or listen/watch this episode in its entirety. I need you to understand this...THE ROBOTS WILL REPLACE US. An autonomous society is already being implemented in cities and industries around the nation to address our labor shortage. We need to prepare for this major change to our workforce by learning new skills in technology and/or exploring entrepreneurship. The robots will replace us from law clerk positions to retail jobs to truck drivers are just a few industries that have already implemented robots or artificial intelligence programs.

We also touch on former presidential candidate Andrew Yang's Freedom Dividend. BRILLIANT. As well as why we need to not covet, and reduce our consumption of so many goods.   Really Not Radio presents a fresh, open-minded podcast hosted by Lee Bishop and baby Stace. • Manipulativities

"Manipulativities" NON-PERISHABLE GOODS podcast episode #23!

There are so many forms of manipulation on record since the beginning of time, but is it ethical? Manipulation seems to be rewarded in this day and age from business practices, relationships and especially on social media. This show organically went into many directions, but all topics led back to some sort of manipulation. We explore how crazy begets crazy, players versus pimps, how the hormones oxytocin and dopamine allow you to not focus on the red flags when you like/lust for someone.

  • How Do You Choose To Deal With Conflict?

"How Do You Choose To Deal With Conflict?" NON-PERISHABLE GOODS podcast episode #22!

As children, we are taught that if we are bullied or someone messes with you, YOU KNOCK THEIR BLOCK OFF as our first conflict resolution strategy. Then, as we mature, life's experiences teach us to either handle conflict more diplomatically, or believe a one-hitter quitter is still the most effective option. Lee Bishop and I represent these extremes. I choose to handle things with a more peaceful approach while he believes a spanking is necessary for improved behavior.

This episode was extremely intense because we had to explore topics of Free Will, anger and mastering peace. Ego is at the root of most conflicts, and that there's consequences for every action or does repentance lead to redemption? Is it helpful to be "the bigger person", why it's important to stand up for yourself and is ghosting and/or blocking someone an acceptable form of ending a relationship?

We decided to do this show because towards the end of every year people talk about cutting people off, so we figured that many were going to need some conflict resolution guidance for the new year.

  • Ready? Set Goals: 2022

"Ready? Set Goals: 2022" NON-PERISHABLE GOODS podcast episode #21!

A huge part of goal setting is writing them down to hold yourself accountable. Lee Bishop came up with a great idea to encapsulate our goals with this show to start off the new year. This episode is our visual board to look back on at the end of the year to see how many things we accomplished and/or spoke into existence. We took turns sharing our goals with each other. Lee Bishop and I are quite different when it comes to our fundamental beliefs, yet we have so much in common. It's pretty cool.

  • The Metaverse is Here, BUT Where?

The Metaverse is here, BUT Where?" NON-PERISHABLE GOODS podcast episode #20!

It's pretty fascinating to me that our generation (80s babies) were a part of the analog to digital transition, and now we are able to experience the Metaverse emergence. In this episode, we discuss what the Metaverse is exactly, how to be a part of it, and my favorite aspect is HOW TO GET MONEY in it!

We are living through such explorative times. The technological advances through Blockchain engineering will transform our traditional banking systems and how we socialize with each other. It's very exciting, but with all change we must be prepared for the dark side of the net.

Educating ourselves and gaining knowledge is imperative, and that's where our NON-PERISHABLE GOODS podcast enters the chat. We aren't experts...yet, and we aren't financial advisors, but we want to bring awareness to topics such as cryptocurrency, NFT's (as an artist and venture capitalist/collector, gaming, and digital real estate investments you should know about to research further.

  • Is Marriage Necessary In the 21st Century

Is Marriage Necessary in the 21st Century?" NON-PERISHABLE GOODS Podcast Episode 19!!

This episode was utter nonsense for the first 11 minutes that indirectly in a roundabout way relates to marriage. It had more to do with the razzle dazzle of pleasing your partner; sexually. Then, we got into why or why not we believe marriage is necessary in modern times, and why we believe marriages are or aren't successful, and quite a bit more. This was a fun, and funny show.
