 Most days I don't even know where to start with all that's going on, but this episode is definitely another example of how Race Rules Everything Around Me, unfortunately or fortunately depending how you look at it. We go in, and get down to the nitty gritty of freedom of speech and in Kyrie Irving's case freedom of posting on social media, which may be a new amendment needed based on the way the modern world is set up. We also delve into Kyrie's apology and redemptive request to continue in the NBA, private organizations and its employer-employee relations, the privileges of being in an Association, which some consider modern day slavery. We also discuss anti-semitism and the origins of the racial stereotypes, white supremacy.   

We also discuss the scientifically & biblically proven origin story of mankind and the lineage of Abraham. This is a very heavy episode, but very necessary to try and sort some of these things out. I just would like to say here that it's great to stand up for your ethnicity, but not by putting another ethnicity down. We were all created by God who loves ALL of us.

"Freedom From Consequences" @nonperishablegoods podcast episode #44

I'm sure the water cooler conversation in every record label this past week involved Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. Also, formerly known as a billionaire after the way he's been losing his business due to his antisemitic rants this past month. Honestly, a lot of his actions and opinions have offended so many people from all races, and bridges have been burned with his closest "friends" and colleagues over the years. He's abused his influence, and he's just receiving the harvest from the rotten seeds he's planted.   

There's so many opinions being thrown from every direction in regards to cancel culture, or Ye is a genius and he's self sabotaging on purpose to get out of business agreements, censorship talk and more. One thing I know for certain is that free will isn't free of consequences, and nor is freedom of speech. You can do and say what you want, but you will also have to deal with the consequences. As an interesting musical activity slide through Ye's discography. You can hear and feel his evolution from tolerance to going HAM. His art imitated his life for sure.

"Dahmer Vibes"

It's taken me 42 years of life and watching the Dahmer series on Netflix to bring me to the realization that some who walk this earth are literally just OFF. There's really no other explanation for some people's actions. This episode, we explored how or why people do the things that they do that are unexplainable. It's truly crazy that one day you think this person is in love with you, but in all actuality they just want to chop your head off. Also, Lee Bishop shares how titties changed the course of his life, and believes it is the solution for others to evade a life of misfortune.

One of the recently coined trends credited to the internet is "cancel culture". It's where someone or entity does or says something that a very vocal group doesn't like, and they are basically judged and deemed "cancelled". That action is discussed with rage via twitter fingers in the court of public opinion aka social media platforms. This episode ended up in a few different places but we started off with discussing being cancelled by people. Then, we ended on possibly being cancelled by earth, which put everything in perspective for us. Just keep in mind we all make mistakes. No one is perfect. Practice forgiveness daily.
